What has Aruba done For Natalee?
Well here we are weeks later still waiting
for Aruba to get their stuff together.
Didn't I say it wouldn't happen?
Now stupid rumours of them protecting
Joran Van de sloot from threats, he is most
likely sending to himself are emerging in
the woodwork.
Natalee's mum and dad have asked, begged,
pleaded with the ALE to solve this murder
which they have pretended did not exist.
AND WHAT HAVE THEY DONE?
NOTHING!
Husband is 'no help' to US murder detectives
I thought at first it was too good to be true that
hubby went to meet with detectives but ...
THE family of a woman and her daughter murdered in
the United States have pointedly omitted any mention
of her British husband in the death notices they have
published.
Neil Entwistle flew from America to Britain two days
before the bodies of his wife Rachel, 27, and
nine-month-old daughter Lillian were discovered at
their home in Massachusetts.
Last week Mr Entwistle met American police at the
US Embassy in London.
However, he is said to be refusing to co-operate with
their inquiry.
The death notices suggest that Mr Entwistle may not
be welcome at Wednesday’s funeral at
St Peter’s Church in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Mrs Entwistle’s family spoke for the first time last night
to say they were “overwhelmed by loss” but confident
that the killer would be brought to justice.
Joe Flaherty, a close friend, said the family was
asking for people to pray for them.
May God support them in this time of sorrow!

Viruses May Be Fattening
Scientists find evidence to suggest a
viral infection may be cause of human
obesity.
January 30, 2006
For years, scientists have wondered whether viruses
should shoulder some responsibility for the wave of
obesity sweeping the planet.
On Monday, a U.S. medical journal released a study
establishing such a link in chickens.
In all of human history, obesity stands alone among
chronic diseases for the rapidity of its spread.
In fact, the pattern of its quick rise looks very much
like that of an infectious disease epidemic.
Six viruses have already been shown to produce
obesity in animals, but University of Wisconsin,
Madison scientists have now shown that a human
virus can cause obesity in chickens, a strong
suggestion that it could make people fat, too.
The findings, which implicated a type of adenovirus,
were released by the American Journal of
Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative
Physiology, which published the study.
“The nearly simultaneous increase in the prevalence
of obesity in most countries of the world is difficult
to explain by changes in food intake and exercise
alone, and suggests that adenoviruses could have
contributed,” reads the study.
Potential Vaccine?
With the idea that obesity might be at least in
part caused by a virus comes the theoretical
potential for a highly lucrative vaccine of great
benefit to public health.
About 127 million adults in the United States alone
are overweight, with 60 million of these defined as
obese, according to the American Obesity
Association. The total cost of obesity to the U.S.
economy, in 1998 dollars, may have been as much
as $78.5 billion, according to the CDC.
The problem also is prevalent in the developing
world, where obesity is frequently found
alongside starvation. Worldwide there are more
than 1 billion overweight adults, of whom at least
300 million of them are obese, according to the
World Health Organization.
“There has been an alarming worldwide increase
in the prevalence of obesity in the past 30 years,”
said Richard L. Atkinson, Professor of Medicine
and Nutritional Sciences at the University of
Wisconsin.
The prevalence of obesity increased by 30 percent
between 1980 and 1990, and by 61 percent between
1990 and 2000.
“This increase is the type of pattern that might occur
with a new infectious disease, as has been seen with
the AIDS virus,” Dr. Atkinson added.
Chicken Fat
In the study, scientists inoculated three-week-old
chickens with three types of human adenovirus.
They found that a virus called Ad-37 caused
obesity in chickens even though the birds did
not eat more.
Another adenovirus, Ad-36, has been linked to
obesity in chickens, mice, and primates, and blood
samples from obese people show they are much
more likely than slim people to carry antibodies
for the virus.
“When human twins are discordant for antibodies
to Ad-36 antibodies, the antibody-positive twin
has a higher body mass index,” reads the
journal’s editorial.
The scientists warn that much more research is
required in the field, and suggest the
“daunting task” of testing all 50-odd human
adenoviruses for their role in obesity would be
the first step toward developing a vaccine.

Fourth suspect in Montreal teen's murder arrested
Updated Mon. Jan. 30 2006 8:42 AM ET
CTV news is reporting that Montreal police have the
fourth man sought for questioning in custody, following
the slaying of a 17-year-old gas-station attendant.
Sergio Moniz, 27, was arrested in downtown Montreal
overnight for allegedly breaking the conditions of his
conditional release stemming from charges that are
not related to Brigitte Serre's murder, police said in
a recorded message.
In a story published on Sunday, Moniz claims he had
nothing to do with the murder and is innocent.
"I have a seven-year-old child," Moniz told Le Journal
de Montreal. "I would never do such horrible things."
Moniz alibi is he was in a hotel with his girlfriend the
night of the murder and wants to clear his name.
Two others are already in custody-
Tommy Gagne, 19, and Sebastien Simon, 18.
On Friday, another suspect, 18-year-old Joel Nantais,
turned himself in to police headquarters accompanied
by a lawyer.
Police said Nantais faces charges including armed robbery
and forcible confinement.
Serre was killed while working alone on an overnight
shift early Wednesday.
An autopsy has been performed on Serre, but the results
will not be released until the homicide squad has
completed its investigation.
A steady stream of mourners has visited the funeral
home where Serre lay before her funeral, which is to
be held in Montreal on Monday morning.

10 Things Men Hate about Women!
10 things women do that men hate
published: Monday January 30, 2006
Women often bash men. The list is endless when it comes
to women saying what they hate about men they have
dated.
However, women are also not perfect.
Flair spoke with several men and gathered the 10 things
women do that they abhor.
1
Materialistic: "Women don't cherish or appreciate what
they have or what their partners have, or what they share
with their partners. "Some women love the fast life and
having lots of stuff," said an interviewee.
Women are also gold-diggers they place a higher value
on the acquisition of things as more important than
actual relationships.
If you are rich you can have whole heap of girls."
2
Jealousy: "Sometimes for no apparent reason, men said,
women are jealous, insecure beings.
"They don't want you to have a woman friend.
If you do, and especially if the friend is more beautiful
or educated than she is, you won't hear the end of it."
3
Deceitful: "Women lie for unnecessary reasons.
"Some tell lies to impress, or for other reasons.
However, it is best to just be yourself."
4
Snobbish: "Women's negative attitudes are pushing
good men away.
"They easily assume that you want to get into their
skirts.
But sometimes we just want to say hello, give a
compliment, or have a normal conversation."
5
Stereotyping: "Women are being asked not to
stereotyped men.
Putting them into the same 'bad' box as their
previous partners.
Comments like "A so man stay" or 'All men are dogs'
should be stopped.
"They don't know anything about the man and
automatically everything is doubted.
But a woman who shows her disbelief in a man is
more than likely insecure to a relationship."
6
Tell me, I won't get upset:
"These are women who beg their partners to tell them
something - about past relationships; how a woman
on the streets look; how they look in a particular outfit.
"I had a girlfriend who said the same to thing to me.
I promised her some cash and I didn't give it to her.
She asked me to tell her what happened to the
money and I did. For three weeks she vex.
I couldn't call her, she was vex like hell."
7
Wanting to change their partners: "Shortly after the
relationship begins women always want to change
their partners.
"They don't want you to play 'ball with friends
anymore.
'That time should be spent with me', a woman
I used to date told me," said a man.
8
Always late: "They tend to be, and I hate it."
9
Very dependent: "Some women have a tendency to
behave like helpless creatures. Like they cannot
survive without the help of their gentlemen."
10
Apartment take-over: "After three months they
want to cohabit. First, they leave undies or hair
products to work out a strategy.
And you can't move it or else they think you have
someone else."

Year of the Dog
Year of the Dog
1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006
People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits
of human nature.
They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire
other people's confidence because they know how to
keep secrets.
But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn,
and eccentric.
They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to
have money.
They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at
parties.
They can find fault with many things and are noted for
their sharp tongues.
Dog people make good leaders.
They are compatible with those born in the Years of the
Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.

BEIJING/SHANGHAI. China (Reuters) --
China marked the start of the Year of the Dog on Sunday
with fireworks and dumplings, as the biggest holiday
in the Chinese world reached a crescendo.
In Beijing, residents were allowed to set off fireworks
and firecrackers in the city for the first time in 12 years,
and used the opportunity with gusto, filling the sky into
the early hours with brightly colored explosions.
At midnight on Lunar New Year's Eve in Shanghai,
China's richest and most cosmopolitan city, clouds
of smoke and a rain of red wrappings obscured
even the nearest buildings, while echoing explosions
shook the windows.
Firecrackers are believed to scare off evil spirits and
attract the god of wealth to people's doorsteps.

quality product with a high level of safety and
security for visitors, according to Jorge Perqeura,
President and CEO of the Aruba Hotel and
Tourism Association.
Last year, the island in the heart of the southern
Caribbean, 15 miles off the coast of South America,
reported arrivals of 453,875 guests from January to
July, 2005. This reflects a 2.4 percent increase over
the summer, a 10 percent rise in the winter or an
overall spike of 6.8 percent from year previous.
Yearly, Aruba welcomes around 750,000 overnight
visitors from all over the world. For a country with
a population of about 100,000, it received about
344,401 Americans between January-July 2005,
posting an 8 percent increase over 2004.
This, despite the mysterious disappearance of
Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway who went
missing since spring break on the island’s limited
area of only 75 square miles – barely 19 miles long
and 6 miles across the widest. So far, there has been
no trace of Natalee ever since her class headed
back to the US.
Three young locals were implicated in the case.
Investigations are ongoing.Stephen Cohen,
a seasoned television news expert who has been
part of the Strategic Communications Task Force and
SMDG Consulting Team advising the Aruba Hotel and
Tourism Association confirmed Aruban authorities
have arrived in the state of Alabama this week to
cooperate with police/ the FBI now speaking with
Holloway’s schoolmates.
They hope to get vital information from friends and
classmates who saw her last, before she left with
the boys hanging at the bar. Disclosures will be
made this week in Alabama after authorities sieve
through some leads again. As to how much the
investigation has cost the Arubans? Cost estimates
for the case have already reached in the millions of
dollars. Police, judicial officials, volunteers, divers,
search and rescue teams, dogs, Dutch marines and
even F-16 aircrafts with special electronic device
have searched every inch of the island.
One pond was drained and divers have searched
the ocean.
Investigations remain very active and major police
resources have been dedicated to the case.
The government has permitted free access to the
island by search parties organized by the family
and cooperated with consultants and experts
hired by the Holloway's.Aruban business community
have gone out of their way to assist in the search,
donate huge sums of money, offer complimentary
services, hand-out flyers and announcements,
hold vigils and prayer services, set up radio station
tip hotlines and cooperate with authorities.
Unfortunately, the much-needed forensic evidence
and witnesses who can directly link the suspected
men have not since been turned up.
On top, the controversy has been wildly stirred by
the media with sloppy reporters jumping to
unfounded claims, as opposed to authorities
reviewing the case with utter professionalism.
Though spotlight is once again shed on the case of
Natalee - finding her or reaching some degree of
closure - Aruba forges ahead with tourism 2006
headstrong.
2005 has been good in terms of arrivals and tourism
nights despite calls for tourist boycott by the governors
of Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia.
Arrivals from Canada went up by 5.7 percent to 13, 548,
up 11.1 percent to 36,986 from Europe but went down
by 1.9 percent with other nationalities.
From January to October 2005, Aruba reported cruise
passenger arrivals totaled 393,671, down by 9.7 percent
from 2004’s 436,089.

At the recently-concluded Caribbean Marketplace organized
by the Caribbean Hotel Association, Tourism and
Transportation Minister Edison Briesen said they are
busy with developing the Quality Plan on the second
tourism corridor at the other end of the island.
This will include a new hotel and golf course along
tourism policy lines, the upgrading and expansion of
quality tourism products through a deal inked with the
private sector.
The investment plan, about $60 million spread over the
coming 4 years, will enhance the landside,
parking areas, new buildings to be built on the bay,
as well as expand the Curacao base Forward
Operations Location complimented by Aruba.
Borders shared with the Dutch Antilles will be made
safer as Aruba has US immigrations and customs
on the isle.
Briesen announced building the quality Fixed Based
Operations where private aircrafts and jets can be
given their own air and landing space on one side
of the runway of the Queen Beatrix International
Airport.Upgrading the cargo area is also a top priority.
“This is consistent with constantly upgrading the
quality of our product.
We are expanding the boats in Barcadera Industrial
Harbor as the boats in Oranjestad are full,”
said Briesen adding that cargo space in the Cruise
Terminal will be moved to Barcadera which will be
fitted with yachting facilities next to the upgraded
cruise terminal. The cruise terminal is part of the
package sold by Aruba.
Turn-over cruise passengers and stay-overs total
about 1.2 to 1.4 million visitors a year – a number
11 times the population of Aruba.
Green zones in the area will also get a facelift from a
budget of approximately $16 million.
This will include the area from the airport to the
tourism corridor.
During the second part of 2006, the plan will begin.
Downtown upgrades will follow suit including revamp
of infrastructure, facilities, green zones and all
parking areas.
The Buchiri Hotel, closed since 3 years, is now in its
phase of finalizing with a new management company.
Eleven bid to acquire it. Five groups were short-listed.
But this February final negotiations will have taken
place with the selected operator.
When completed, the new Buchiri will have a casino
and its 150 rooms will have expanded to 350.
Next to the Marriott, a Ritz-Carlton is also about to sign
a 297-room contract to operate first time in Aruba.
Contracts will possibly close in the next weeks.
New airlifts will soon draw huge crowds, facilitating
increased traffic flow.
We were very successful in attracting the new airlines
to introduce new routes, said Briesen.
Some 90 percent of air route capacity is operated by
scheduled airlines; the rest, with the charters.
Arubans are getting more involved in the trade.
Campaign slogan The Promise which kicked-in this
January is a training campaign passed on from hotel
workers to secondary schools.
The program is in line with making locals understand
tourism and become active stakeholders in
Aruba’s most important industry.
The training will cement the partnership between the
tourism association and the hotel association,
according to the minister.
In Aruba, the major key players are the tour operators,
hotel chains, and the airlines. “We now can look back
at 2005 as a successful year. Despite the many ups and
downs, we certainly had good damage control.
The strong partnership with the public and private
sector helped in cutting-down on the wrong images
portrayed about us in the last 6 months.”
Briesen forecasts a 15 percent growth in tourism due to
rising rooms inventory and demand.

Suspect in gas bar slaying arrested
I can only say I am happy not to be in 18-year-old
Simon Sébastien shoes today.
Simon was picked up at Edmonton's airport Saturday
morning.
He is being charged with the murder of 17-year-old Brigitte
at a Montreal gas station.
Officers found Brigitte Serre's body in a bathroom at the
back of the gas station.
Simon was fired from the gas station on Monday.
On Friday morning, Joël Nantais, 18, who is considered
an important witness in the case, turned himself in to
Montreal police.
Another suspect, 27-year-old Sergio Moniz, is still being
sought.
Simon will be brought before a judge in the next 24 hours,
then escorted back to Montreal.
Another teen, Joel Nantais, 18, considered an important
witness in the case, had earlier turned himself in to
Montreal police.
previously quoted-
"A witness claims he bought cigarettes at the gas bar after
about 3:30 a.m. on the morning of the murder.
He said he was served by two young men dressed in
Shell uniforms who knew how to operate the cash register. "
I am willing to bet the third was still in the back with

THE MIGHTY HAS FALLEN!
What a pity the arubian suspects in Natalee Holloway's
dissappearance has no remorse like Joel Nantais!
Murder in Massachusetts! Motive?
What causes a person to decide to murder
their spouse and children?
The recent case of the Briton whose American wife and
child were shot dead in their home in the USA while it
is believed he was enroute to the UK. I find it hard to
accept the death which appears to have no motive as yet.
Is it life Insurance?
The rent on the house seems awfully large and there does
not seem to be a money trail?
Is it another woman?
Mr. Entwistle actions are indeed suspect to me.
Where is this woman's family?.
Who ever did this did it cleverly!
But I have faith in our American justice system and feel
they will get a time of death soon.
I am willing to bet Friday. HMMM
************************************************
Neil Entwistle, voluntarily went to the US embassy, and was
questioned about the deaths at their home.
Rachel Entwistle, 27, and baby Lillian, nine months, were found
at their home in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, on Sunday.
Mrs Entwistle taught drama and English at St Augustine's
Catholic School in Redditch, Worcs, between 2002 and 2005.
US police had already spoken to Mr Entwistle on the phone
following the discovery of his wife and child.
The 27-year-old is thought to have left the US before the bodies
of his wife Rachel and daughter Lillian were discovered under a
pile of blankets in a bedroom at their home.
Mrs Entwistle had been shot in the head, Lillian in the body,
at some time between last Friday morning and Saturday night.
Mr Entwistle, from Worksop, Nottinghamshire, is believed to
have boarded a flight from Boston to London on Friday.
The family had only lived at the address for 10 days.
Party plans
They were reportedly due to host a dinner party on Saturday
night, but when guests arrived, it appeared that no-one was at
home.
It has emerged that officers went to the house that night after
being contacted by Mrs Entwistle's mother and stepfather
and entered the bedroom where the bodies were eventually
found, but only saw what appeared to be an unmade bed.
And it was only when police returned on Sunday that police
noticed an odour which suggested there might be bodies in
the room and discovered them under the bedding.

Jury weighs manslaughter, dismemberment charges

DEDHAM, Mass. -
Prosecutor Robert Nelson also dumped a box of hoods,
collars and paddles onto a table during his closing
arguments, declaring that 56-year-old Barbara Asher
was trying to protect her business and
“that’s why she didn’t call the police.”
Asher, who called herself Mistress Lauren M, is charged
with manslaughter and dismemberment in
Michael Lord’s death.
Lord, a 53-year-old retired telephone company worker
from North Hampton, N.H., died in 2000 while strapped
to a replica of a medieval torture device in
Asher’s Quincy condominium, according to police.
His body was never found.
Police said Asher confessed that she and her boyfriend
chopped up Lord’s body in the bathtub and dumped it
behind a restaurant in Maine.
Defense attorney Stephania Page told the jury that
prosecutors failed to produce any incriminating evidence.
“No body. No blood. No DNA. No evidence,” Page said.

Holloway Family Waits and Hopes
An article with Natalee Holloway's father
and mother making the following statements-
Dave Holloway saying
"What they're doing now is closing some gaps,".
"From what I've heard, that there were just some holes in
some of the students' statements that they just wanted to
fill and from what I'm hearing they're just trying to lay a
really solid foundation in order to move forward in this
investigation against the three suspects,"
said Beth Holloway Twitty.
The three suspects are Joran Van der Slott and two brothers,
Deepak and Satish Kalpoe.
All were arrested in the case and held for several weeks but
never officially charged.
All were released last year.
Natalee's family members say they are hopeful that this
week's interviews in the U.S. will lead to a break in the case.
"Everything points back to the three suspects,"
said Holloway.
"And when you get into a situation, if you finally charge
someone, you don't want them to point the finger to
someone else. I think that's the reason they're interviewing
these kids, to paint the picture, plug the holes and make
sure that there are not any more suspects."
"We hope that Aruba will show us they do have enforceable
laws, such as perjury and obstruction of justice and rape,"
Twitty said.
"You know, I think that we need to see that."
"Well, they've always given us hints that something would
happen and it never did but hopefully something will happen
by the end of this month," said Holloway.
I, myself have no more trust in the ALE.
Hope they don't once again
kill the hopes of Natalee's parents.

The value of Virginity?
Todays society does not seem to hold SEX in a high esteem.
Many teens and a large proportion of the adult population
believe it's fine to have sex without any strings attatched.
Some of us are pressured and cave in to peer pressure.
Very few people today believe you should only have sex
when you're married and only with the person you are
married to.
The age of the first sexual experience seems to occur earlier
than before.
I am not into heavy religions and I am far from perfect, but I
have always believed sex should be a private enjoyable
experience between two responsible individuals.
A girl's virginity is a gift that cannot be returned once given.
The risks associated with casual sex is high.
You could catch a sexually transmitted disease.
Once you have been exposed to a disease like AIDS there is
no turning back the clock.
There is also the risk of pregnancy.
Do you want to risk that?
You only need to look around to see how many teenage
pregnancies are happening out there.
Children raising children and losing their teen years and
learning experiences.
Teens consider this:
It is your choice as to whether or not you have sex before
you marry. If you have to ask if you are ready, chances
are you are not.
Having sex does not make you grown up. Sexual relations
before you are ready emotinally can cause unforeseen problems
later on.
Girls Value Your Virginity!
Drag-racing teens killed cabbie!
I can't count the times I have reminded my kids in
their teen years that a hasty choice can change
their lives forever.
"Two teenaged friends who were driving their
parents' luxury vehicles face criminal charges after
an alleged drag race on Mount Pleasant Road killed
a taxi driver who was scheduled to become a
Canadian citizen tomorrow."
"This is a death that should never have
happened,"
Detective Paul Lobsinger told Global News.
"There is no doubt in my mind these young
boys did not intend to kill this person,"
he said.
I have to ask myself: Would it have been
differently said if these youths had not been
rich and the right colour?
"Alexander Ryazanov and Wang-Piao Dumani Ross,
both 18 and of Toronto, are charged with criminal
negligence causing death, although police allege
only one Mercedes struck the taxi.
If convicted, they face maximum sentences of life in
prison."
Mr. Dumani Ross' mother appeared distraught as
she looked at her boy being led out of the box.
She ran out of the courtroom before the date for
her son's bail hearing had been set.
The pair remain in custody, and the Crown will be
seeking their detention, Ms. Flynn said, based on a
likelihood that the young men would reoffend and
that it is in the public's interest to have them behind
bars.
Outside the courtroom, a woman who identified
herself as Mr. Dumani Ross's aunt sat next to a
reporter and asked: "Do you know anything about
the taxi driver?"
Later, she asked a police officer if alcohol had
been a factor in the crash, and looked relieved
when the officer indicated it had not been.
"So they're going to be in jail with other criminals?"
she asked him. "Yes," he replied.

Jane Creba to be remembered
Jane Creba, the teen killed after a Boxing Day
shootout between 15 youths on Yonge street is being
remembered by school and friends at a memorial
service on Friday.
People are expected to share memories of the athlete
and top student at Riverdale Collegiate Institute.
The Alleged Boxing day shooter wants his trial soon.
21-year-old Andre Thompson, who is charged with
numerous gun-related offences, has agreed to remain
behind bars.

ARUBA NEWS UPDATES
Suspect #1
It’s being reported that Two Arabian investigators
are continuing to interview friends of
Natalee Holloway this week.
The search teams in Aruba are still waiting for the
cadaver dogs that the FBI. are supposed to be
lending them.
Why do these things take so long?
The Arubian search team is disturbing the earth
with metal probes to prepare it for the dogs.
Things that should have been done months ago.
They are also trying to finalize plans for more
extensive searches of the sand dunes where
Holloway was reportedly last seen and also the
ocean off the Arabian coast.
Twitty told NBC 13 News late Wednesday that
Equusearch is trying to obtain deep-ground
penetrating radar equipment that might do a
better job of locating a body than cadaver
dogs, especially along a windy coastline.
New leads, possibly from a friend of suspect
Joran Van Der Sloot, are spurring the recent
activity in Aruba and Alabama.
Although trying to get this confirmed could
be a problem.
I wonder at the sudden change of heart and also
who held up the investigation previously MSNBC
reported that investigators are asking Holloway's
friends if they recognize new Arabian names,
giving them descriptions of Carlos 'N' Charlie's
patrons, and having them examine pictures of
patrons in an attempt to develop new leads.
or to perhaps hope for another suspect
besides Joran. (not likely)
I feel this sudden action is in regards to
Mr. Van de sloots sudden lawsuit, which he may
have foolishly stirred up.
I hope it hits him in the face.

The chosen 18 prearranged interviews with
students who were on the senior trip with Natalee
are viewed as key witnesses since they were with
Holloway at Carlos and Charley's bar the night she
disappeared.
Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty, said the local visit
by Arabian authorities is encouraging.
"I know the students are more than willing to do this.
I mean, they want to see a prosecution as much
as the family does," Twitty said.
She hopes it signals a near end to the case, but
she's not sure what new information Holloway's
friends might have.
Beth Twitty feels there is a strong reason for
Arabian authorities to be here and feels confident
the Arabian government will come forward with
criminal charges.
I am hopeful too, but their previous behaviour
has me hoping she is not heading for another
BIG disappointment.

Valentine's Day thoughts!
The History of
Valentine's Day:-
Every February, across
the country, candy, flowers,
and gifts are exchanged
between loved ones, all in
the name of St. Valentine.
But who is this mysterious
saint and why do we celebrate this holiday?
The history of Valentine's Day -- and its patron saint
-- is shrouded in mystery.
But we do know that February has long been a month of romance.
***
The day is only approximately 3 weeks away and hopefully
most of us have made their plans. Restaurants and stores
make alot of money from this holiday and are usually packed
and crowded. Book your restaurants early!
Before Christmas was gone the store had Valentine day
goods up. I was amazed at the nerve of them.
I guess it was an attempt to keep the holiday spirits up
and the compulsive spender, spending.
Valentine's Day in Jamaica was special. It was the day
you mailed or slipped valentine cards to someone you liked
without anyone knowing the sender. It created mystery
and it was fun.
Its the only time you can freely declare you love safely
without rejection and hurt.
This valentine spend alittle extra time planning and go ahead
and take a chance on love.
I am still stressing the care need to be safe in your choices.
Calling a spade A spade!
"Aruba Lies and Proving Itself Corrupt
They tell you what it is good for but never tell you
how it harms you You only get half the story,
I am trying to supply the half they dont tell you.
Just like Cohen said they would be rearrested or
questioned. It didnt happen.
So Cohen has lost his credibility.
Since he is being paid by Aruba hotel, they lost
their credibility.
Since Aruba hasnt solved this case they lost their
credibility and that makes the island unsafe as
killers are walking around free. "

I have to agree with SEEDYRUM -
I don't believe even one sane person
believes anything that comes out of Aruba
anymore.
Their reputation has been tarnished from their
inability to call a spade a spade and get on
with the business at hand.
This country has made a mockery of tourists.
The fact that they have not announced their
tourist levels and the fact that Jamaica
tourist industry has gotten a boom, this year
shows they are suffering.
What has this country got to offer anymore?
They tell you what it is good for but never tell you

CANADA'S FINEST ARRIVE HOME!
OUR HEROES
Wounded soldiers
return home

"
EDMONTON - The three Canadian soldiers injured
by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan arrived home
yesterday, surrounded by family members and a
watchful military medical team.
The soldiers arrived at their home base following
a nine-hour flight from Germany, where they had
been treated for their injuries at a U.S. military
hospital since the Jan. 15 attack."
"Corporal Jeffrey Bailey, who took a turn for the
worse over the weekend, still managed to make
the journey. Last week, medical staff had warned
his precarious condition might mean he would
miss the chance to come home yesterday.
Of the soldiers injured, the 26-year-old member
of 1 Combat Engineer Regiment was the most
critically wounded, with a skull fracture and
extensive bruising on the left side of his brain.
Over the weekend, he underwent surgery to
remove a portion of his skull in order to relieve
pressure caused by swelling."
"Their flight home yesterday was delayed by
almost three hours.
"Each of these soldiers was essentially in their
own private hospital on board that airplane,"
Gen. Hillier told reporters after their arrival.
"We got nothing but compliments from the
families. They can't get over the level of care."
"Pte. Salikin, who is originally from
Grand Forks, B.C., and who suffered serious
head injuries in the blast, was the first taken off
the A310 military Airbus, surrounded by
medical staff. "
"He was followed by Cpl. Bailey, of Edmonton,
who was placed in the same ambulance.
Master Cpl. Franklin, also from Edmonton, was
the last of the injured to be removed.
The medic, who was the least seriously injured,
lost a leg in the blast but managed to administer
first aid to the other wounded.
His other leg was also badly smashed."
"The Jan. 15 attack killed diplomat Glyn Berry, 59,
the region's senior Foreign Affairs officer with
the 250-member provincial reconstruction team
that is conducting liaison and humanitarian work
around Kandahar.
His funeral, with military honours, is set for
tomorrow in England."
"There have been 13 suicide blasts in Afghanistan
since November. Some believe the increase in
attacks may be a way for insurgents to try to
keep NATO members from expanding their
peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan."
"More than 100 Canadian combat troops arrived
in southern Afghanistan yesterday.
By the end of February, Canada will have about
2,000 soldiers in Afghanistan, triple the former
level.
Most soldiers will serve six to nine months
before returning home."

Welcoming these solidiers who are doing
Canada's peacekeeping in such a dangerous
Country should be the highlight of this week.
Canada has stood by its position as a world
peacekeeping country and to do this job
our soldiers should be more reconized.
Money for our military to keep our son's and
daughter's safe when in a dangerous country
should be the #1 priority.
It takes a special person to love one's country
and the people of the world that they
would willingly join our military to help defend

Aruban officials to question ALA. teens!
Aruban officials to

Ala. teens

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) —
Authorities from Aruba will be in the U.S.
this week to question some of the
Alabama teenagers who accompanied
Natalee Holloway on her graduation trip
to the island nation, where she
disappeared last year.
The Arubans, accompanied by FBI
agents, plan to interview "a number" of
Mountain Brook High graduates, FBI
spokesman Ray Zicarelli said Monday.
Holloway's father said the Arubans are
expected to be in the country about a
week.
Holloway, of Mountain Brook, Ala., was
last seen May 30 leaving a bar on the
Dutch Caribbean island with three
young men.
yup thats right 3!!!!!
and they have been let go!
The men were arrested in June and
later released after a court ruled there
was insufficient evidence to hold them.
Holloway, an 18-year-old senior, was
among 125 Mountain Brook graduates
and seven chaperones who visited
Aruba after graduation.
In an interview with The Associated Press
in November, Aruba's deputy police chief,
Gerold Dompig, said information from
other students could be "crucial" to the
investigation.
Right! can we believe this
man?
"We still need to question a couple of the
schoolmates because some earlier given
statements to the FBI do not match and
some students also gave disturbing
(new) information about the trip on
several television shows and on the
Internet," Dompig said.
Right! the 3 suspects
stories did not match
either and they cannot
be interviewed?
