Edmonton — One of three Canadian soldiers seriously
wounded in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan last week
has a “devastating” head injury and may not survive.
Trauma surgeon Lt.-Col. Ron Brisebois said Thursday
that Cpl. Jeffrey Bailey's brain continues to swell and
he remains in a medically induced coma at the
University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
