Defiant congregation gathers after shooting

CTV.ca News Staff
"A shocked and frightened church congregation

met for services Saturday morning while police
searched for a single gunman believed to have
shot a young man on their church's steps
during a funeral the day before." The shooting of
18-year-old Amon Beckles happened during
the funeral for Beckles' friend, 17-year-old
Jamal Michael Hemmings.
He was shot Nov. 9 in an Eglinton Avenue
West parking lot and Beckles was a witness.
Pastor King sent a message to the people responsible
for the two killings.
"How can you come into the house of God and do the

things you're doing?
That's demonism personified and we're not going to allow
it any more. You're going to go this far and no further,"
said King.

Questions are being asked as to why police was not at the funeral as
they should have been in a case like this especially with the witness
in attendance. This shows a disregard for the witnesses who come
forward to give information. Gun criminals should not have the

opportunity of bail, maybe this would be a deterrant. It has been said
again and again
"We need to take the streets of Toronto back."
Murderers need to get life not 13 years for a human life.
WHY ARE HUMAN LIFE'S WORTH SO LITTLE.
A murderer can get 3 chances to kill every time they get out per lifetime.
Only 13 years each time...no matter how many killed.
Let's take a leaf from the Americans
"LIFE MEANS LIFE"
It's no joke anymore.
Child ABUSERS HAVE TAKEN THE LIFE OF EVERY
CHILD THEY ABUSE......
GIVE THEM LIFE FOR THIS CRIME !!!

crime does not pay.....Prove it!
