A guide for giving flowers...

Do you need advice on How to search
among the weeds and pick the right flower
for somone special!

Flowers are not only given on Birthdays,
Funerals and Mothers day's.
Flowers can be used to say "Thank you",
"Hey you are someone special" or just
"Hey you are a nice person!"
Mothers, daughters, sisters and friends enjoy the gift
of flowers even when just to tell them you are thinking
about them.

Here are a few examples of flowers
and their meanings:
Lillies
Most often associated with Easter, lilies are a popular flower
for weddings
Roses
The rose is the official flower of England has been a symbol of
love and desire for centuries. The red roses denoting love,
white roses symbolizing innocence and silence, and pink roses
signifying friendship,
and if you want to say something different, simply mix up the
colours.
Carnations
My favourite, A long lasting flower.Pink carnations being the
flower of choice for Mother’s Day, White carnations popular
for weddings and expressing sympathy, and
Red carnations being used to express love and affection.
Irises
The friendship flower. Once a symbol of faith to the ancient
Greeks, the iris has more recently been associated with
French nobility as the Fleur-de-lis.
Irises come in strong colours, fragrance, and delicate

appearance.
Irises are not immediately associated with romance so
can safely be given to a friend or acquaintance.
DID YOU KNOW?
Giving a red tulip is telling the person they are a perfect lover?
Giving an orchid is saying You posses a refined beauty;
You are delicate
The gift of a gardenia symbolizes My love for you is secret!
