Office Party bashing!!!

It was just okay.
Lots of food and my coworkers
and their families. My husband
did not care to go and frankly I
did not want to.
I refused to buy an outfit to wear
for the occassion and begrudged
the offtime I had to spend there.
I was afraid to say no as I was told off the last
time I could not attend a company event on my
off time after work.
There was NO christmas bonus but we were told
the company did well. How nice for them.
I work 6 days a week so you can tell how pleased
I am.
A lousy 25 dollars for a turkey would have been nice.
Why bother to waste an employers time to attend a
party that encourages them to spend on clothing,
commuting and time out of their offtime?
Just have the party after work on a friday if the
company is not able to give bonuses.
Okay so I am harping on something stupid maybe
but just getting it out there...
KEEP THE PARTY!!! spread the wealth!
we all worked hard the whole year,
