CBC news
It appears the Canadian teen accused of murdering a
U.S. soldier in Afghanistan won't face the death penalty.
Canadian officials have been urging Washington not to
seek the death penalty in the case of Omar Khadr, who
is being held at the U.S. military base in
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
On Wednesday, U.S. Defence Department officials said
they never planned to.
Ottawa says it would like to see that in writing.
PLEASE CANADA NEEDS TO
PROMISE US HE WILL NOT
COME HERE AFTER!!!!
AND I WANT THAT IN WRITING.
