Goodbye Aruba

Getting out while you can....

Toronto Jailbirds...

Two sisters in Mississauga, Ont., who were
convicted of killing their mother in a bathtub
in 2003 have been sentenced as youths, and
given the maximum penalty.
Justice Bruce Duncan sentenced both to 10
years in prison.
The two, now 19 and 20 years old, will serve
six years in secure custody and four years
under conditional supervision, with 18 months
subtracted for time spent in prison.
The older sister will serve her sentence in an
adult facility.
The decision was announced late Friday
afternoon at a court in Brampton, Ont.
Their names can't be released because they
were 15 and 16 at the time of the crime, and
subject to terms of the Youth Criminal Justice
Act.
In convicting the sisters last December of
first-degree murder, the judge found the girls
plied their mother with Tylenol-3 pills and
alcohol on Jan. 18, 2003, before one girl
held the mother's head underwater until she
drowned.
A psychiatric assessment released Thursday
recommended the girls be sentenced as
youths, citing concerns that the two would do
poorly in an adult prison.
Dr. Phil Klassen told a sentencing hearing
that the sisters had no history of violence or
criminal behaviour before killing their mother.
Initially, the death of the 44-year-old mother
was ruled accidental, but police reopened the
case a year later when a friend of the sister
contacted them with new information.

New Developments in Aruba...

New Developments Surface
In Natalee Holloway Case
POSTED: 7:17 pm CDT June 26, 2006
UPDATED: 9:15 am CDT June 27, 2006
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Over the weekend, new

information surfaced in the Natalee Holloway
case: a new witness is being held in Aruba.
The witness has been in jail since April, and he

said he saw Joran Van Der Sloot, one of the
original suspects, the night Holloway disappeared.
He also said he saw what he thinks was Holloway
and Van Der Sloot on the beach the night in
question.
Beth Twitty, Holloway’s mother, said she’s not

sure what to make of the latest information,
but she is hopeful something will come from
this latest turn of events.
“I don’t know if she’s even recoverable at this

point or not, but what we do keep thinking
is that we’ll at least find out what happened
that night. There has to have been somebody
that has some information, that knows what
transpired that night,” said Twitty.

Ten people have been arrested and questioned
in Holloway’s disappearance.

And the game continues...Should we jump
and waste time hoping that this time Aruba
may have got it now.? hahahaha right!

Missing teen Nicholas Gochnour ...

Teen's Disappearance Has OC Police On Alert
By STACEY KAISER -- WMDT 6/20/2006
"It's kind of scary because, I mean, I guess you don't
really realize it whenever you're out having fun, or
whatever, that it could happen to people like us, I
mean here."Allison Battaglia is talking about the
recent disappearance of Nicholas Gochnour and
high school graduate Natalee Holloway who's
been missing for one year now.
Battaglia and her friends are in Ocean City for
senior week and say they're doing their best to
be responsible and stay safe.
"We're all going to college, so it's kind of like if you
don't learn now, when are you going to learn, ya
know?"
Deborah Todd, a mother of two teens, agrees there
is not much you can do to protect these young adults.
"Well, you can't be there every second. You have
to sort of tell them to watch out where they're
going. Keep their eye around themselves;
don't go around blind and talking and not paying
attention to what's going on around you,"
Todd said.
Todd's 16-year-old daughter says despite the
risk, she can't wait for her senior week.
"It's like what everyone talks about, a lot of our
seniors, so I'll be excited when I'm a senior, I
can talk about it and have fun at the beach...
I'll be careful though," Heather Todd said.
If you have any information on Nicholas Gochnour
or his whereabouts, contact Ocean City Police
at 410-723-6610.

SEXUAL ABUSE ALERT ...

Some signs to look out for to know when
your child is being sexually abused.
-Nightmares, trouble sleeping, fear of the dark,
or other sleeping problems.
-Extreme fear of 'monsters'.
-Spacing out at odd times.
-Loss of appetite, or trouble eating or swallowing.
-Sudden mood swings: rage, fear, anger, or
withdrawal.
-Fear of certain people or places (e.g., a child
may not want to be left alone with a babysitter,
a friend, a relative, or some other child or
adult; or a child who is usually talkative and
cheery may become quiet and distant when
around a certain person).
-Stomach illness all of the time with no
identifiable reason.
-An older child behaving like a younger
child, such as bed-wetting or thumb sucking.

Clifford Olson deserves to die in prison...

Child killer Olson deserves to die in prison,
families to tell parole board.

Thursday, June 22, 2006
VICTORIA (CP) - Serial child killer

Clifford Olson should die behind bars, the
family of one of his victims will tell the
National Parole Board at a parole hearing
expected next month.
Olson, who has served 25 years in prison

after pleading guilty in 1982 to the murders
of 11 young people in British Columbia,
now is eligible for parole as part of his life
sentence.
But representatives from the families of at

least seven of Olson's victims will attend
the parole hearing to oppose his release.
"He shouldn't be out," said Gary Rosenfeldt,

whose son Daryn was murdered by
Olson in April 1981.
"The bottom line is he murdered 11

children. If they let him out now, it's like he
got two years for the murder of each child,"
he said.
"I don't think that he could ever do enough

time in prison. He should die in prison."
Olson, who now is 66, called himself the

Beast of British Columbia.
He admitted killing eight boys and three

girls ranging in age from nine to 18, but
only after working out a cash-for-bodies
deal with the Crown and RCMP where his
family received $100,000 in exchange for
information about the deaths and location
of the bodies.

This story was awful and we have to
makesure this man stays in prison.
More children are at risks..........

Age of Consent to be 16 in Canada...

The Conservative government introduced a bill
on Thursday that would raise the age of sexual
consent by two years to 16.
If passed, the new law would mean most adults
who have sex with girls or boys aged 14 or 15
could face criminal charges.
"Adults who sexually prey upon young people
are the targets of these reforms, not consenting
teenagers," said Justice Minister Vic Toews,
who said the bill will rename the Age of
Consent law to the Age of Protection law.
The proposed legislation includes a close-in-age
exception, which means that teens who are 14
or 15 can have a sexual partner who is "less than
five years older."
"Another time-limited exception would also
be available for existing marriages and
equivalent relationships," said a news
release posted Thursday on the Justice
Department's website.

Support Canadian Soldiers!!!

Attacks on two
military convoys
Wednesday in
southern
Afghanistan left
one dead and 13
wounded
- including six
Canadian soldiers
- and the U.S.-led coalition warned that "significant fighting"
lies ahead.

SAY NO TO TERRORISM!!

Highway of tears Recommendations...

The RCMP has officially added the names of
two more young women to the list of those
who have died or disappeared along
Highway 16 in northern B.C.,
CBC News has learned.
Police previously confirmed that nine

young women — eight of them aboriginal
— had gone missing or been murdered on
the highway since 1990.
The news comes as First Nations groups

issued a report Wednesday that aims to
prevent more murders and disappearances
along the highway.
It includes several recommendations to try to
cut down on "poverty-related travel" by
young aboriginal women. The report is the
result of the Highway of Tears Symposium
in Prince George earlier this year.
Its recommendations include a call for the

RCMP to officially investigate whether as
many as 32 people have gone missing
along the 724-kilometre highway between
Prince George and Prince Rupert
The report says poverty and a lack of

opportunities make young aboriginal women
more vulnerable, and more prone to
hitchhiking.
So some of the recommendations call for:
A new shuttle-bus transport service between

communities.
-An expansion of Greyhound's "free ride"

program for people who can't afford to pay.
-For police and Greyhound bus drivers to

pick up any young women hitchhiking
between Prince George and Prince Rupert.
-For government employees who drive the

highway as part of their work to alert
authorities about female hitchhikers.
-The report also recommends that a

network of safe houses be established.

A solution may be in the works but
the killer is still at large???????

Canada's disgrace!!!

It was over twenty-five years ago when I was
living in Edmonton:-
That this character Clifford Olsen was paid
$100,000 of the blood money
raised for the information leading to his arrest.
For this money Canadian authorities got the
bodies of the 8 children.
His wife and children got the money.
People out in western canada beseached her to
return the blood money but she refused.
Where ever she is I hope her life and that of her
children is worse than the fires of hell...
Now!!!
Most Prolific Serial Killer in Canadian History
Up for Parole
Josh Pringle Wednesday, June 21, 2006
Clifford Olson will complete the 25-year parole

eligibility requirement of his life sentence in
August. The National Parole Board is reportedly
preparing to hold a parole hearing next month.
The Globe and Mail quotes a spokeswoman as

saying that since the 66-year-old Olson hasn't
signalled any intention to waive his hearing, it's
being scheduled for next month.
Olson pleaded guilty in 1982 to 11 counts of

murder.

WORLD CUP LAUGHS!!!!!

World Cup warning
published: Tuesday June 20, 2006
DEAR WIFE, Partner, Girlfriend, aunt, niece,

mothers, grandmothers, maids ... all women.

1.
From 9 June to 9 July, you should read the sports
section of the newspaper so that you are aware of
what is going on regarding the World Cup, and that
way you will be able to join in the conversations.
If you fail to do this, then you will be looked at in a
bad way, or you will be totally ignored.
DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.

2. During the World Cup, the television is mine, at
all times, without any exceptions. If you even take
a glimpse of the remote control, you will lose
it (your eye).

3. If you have to pass by in front of the TV during
a game, I don't mind, as long as you do it
crawling on the floor and without distracting
me. If you decide to stand nude in front of the
TV, make sure you put clothes on right after
because if you catch a cold, I won't have time to
take you to the doctor or look after you during
the World Cup month.

4. During the games I will be blind, deaf and mute,
unless I require a refill of my drink or something
to eat. You are out of your mind if you expect me
to listen to you, open the door, answer the
telephone, or pick up the baby that just fell on
the floor ... It won't happen.

5. It would be a good idea for you to keep at least
two six-packs in the fridge at all times, as well as
plenty of things to nibble on, and please do not
make any funny faces to my friends when they
come over to watch the games.
In return, you will be allowed to use the TV
between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., unless they replay
a good game that I missed during the day.

6. Please, please, please!! If you see me upset
because one of my teams is losing, DO NOT
say "get over it, its only a game", or "don't worry,
they'll win next time".
If you say these things, you will only make me
angrier and I will love you less. Remember, you
will never ever know more about football than
me and your so called "words of encouragement"
will only lead to a break up or divorce.

7. You .are welcome to sit with me to watch
one game and you can talk to me during
half-time but only when the commercials are
on, and only if the half-time score is pleasing me.
In addition, please note I am saying "one" game;
hence, do not use the World Cup as a nice
cheesy excuse to "spend time together".

8. The replays of the goals are very important.
I don't care if I have seen them or I haven't seen
them, I want to see them again. Many times.
9. Tell your friends NOT to have any babies, or

any other child-related parties or gatherings
that require my attendance.

10. But, if a friend of mine invites us to his
house on a Sunday to watch a game, we
will be there in a flash.
The daily World Cup highlights shown on

TV every night is just as important as the
games themselves.

11. Do not even think about saying "but you
have already seen this ... why don't you
change the channel to something we can
all watch?" because, the reply will be,
"Refer to Rule #2 of this list".

12.
And finally, please save your expressions
such as "Thank God the World Cup is only
every four years". I am immune to these
words, because after this comes the
Champions League, Italian League,
Spanish League, Premier League, FA Cup,
etc.

Thank you for your cooperation.

I am, etc.,

ARUBA AT A STANDSTILL?

Monday, June 19, 2006

By Greta Van Susteren

Over the weekend I spoke to Beth Holloway Twitty

— still no news out of Aruba. I suspect the Aruban

investigation is over, although there is no official

word it is.

I keep hoping I am wrong about this investigation

and that it will resolve... meaning we find out what

happened to Natalee.

It has been well over a year and still no answers.

This is one story that I thought if we persisted,

we could get answers.

Every day I get many e-mails from people asking

if we have dropped the story.

The answer is no.

We check on it daily.

If and when there is news, we will report it.

Beth and Natalee's father, Dave, are still awaiting

the decision by the New York State Court whether

their civil suit filed against Joran van der Sloot

and his father will get thrown out or not.

The issue of whether it will get thrown out was

argued in May and the judge could decide it

any day... or any month.

Unfortunately for Beth and Dave — and for

Joran and his father — there is no time limit

within which the judge must decide, so they

all remain in the state of suspension.

You may forget about this civil case, but the

litigants don't.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) --
The bodies of two U.S. soldiers found in Iraq
Monday night were mutilated and
booby-trapped, military sources said Tuesday.
Pfc. Kristian Menchaca and
Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker
went missing after a Friday attack on a traffic
control checkpoint in Yusufiya, 12
miles (20 km) south of Baghdad.
The sources said the two men had suffered
severe trauma.
The bodies also had been desecrated, and a
visual identification was impossible -- part
of the reason DNA testing was being
conducted to verify their identities, the
sources said.
A tip from Iraqi civilians led officials to the
bodies, military sources told CNN.
The discovery was made about 7:30 p.m.
Monday.

Yes Apparently Aruba has Police Force....

Proof that police exist in Aruba- believe it or not!Walk-out by police
Police officers went on strike this morning
and left the police station.
ARUBA – The police corps of Aruba walked-out
this morning because they are not satisfied with
the policy of the government.
They were told that from now on, overtime will
be paid partially.
In the past two weeks, police union SPA has been
asking Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP) on
numerous occasions to explain this decision
and the idea behind it.
Up till today, Croes has not reacted on the
request and this was enough reason for the union
to call a meeting with its members.

March against gun crime

Torontonians march against gun
violence as 3 more shot
Last updated Jun 19 2006 09:01 AM EDT

CBC News
Three shootings across Toronto over the

weekend lent urgency to a
"Stop the Violence" march held Sunday
afternoon.
Just hours after hundreds of people

gathered in Nathan Phillips Square to begin
the anti-violence walk, a 16-year-old boy
was shot in the Sheppard Avenue East
and Neilson Road area.
It was the third shooting of the weekend.

Early Saturday morning, a 17-year-old was
shot in the stomach at a house party in
Etobicoke.
Later that same day, a 14-year-old boy was

shot in the stomach in a drive-by shooting
while attending a picnic with his friends at
the Eglinton Flats in the Jane Street and
Eglinton Avenue West area.
About 150 people were in the area at the
time.
All three teenagers are in stable condition.
Sunday's two-kilometre march was

organized by the Toronto Argonauts
Foundation, created last summer in the
middle of a year marked by a record 52
gun-related deaths.

The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles in flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these

And there was nothing more

He knew his masterpiece

And He called it – Dad.

Garage sale melee....

Well as luck would have it.. It's is Saturday 7am
and I am at my dad's old place.
We are suppose to be doing a garage sale thingy.
My dad is 6'3'' and over 300lbs. so you can
understand that he refuses to help me lug
anything upstairs from his basement apartment.
"Lets just have them come down here" he
suggested. The basement has only one door out...
just perfect huh?
Yes I am vetoing that idea.
The stairs are the worse also- wedge shaped
and a hell of a manuever to get the stuff up them.
Garage sales are the worse...
Not to mention that his friend offered to put up
the signs.
I just found 2 signs inside and the one

outside posted on a pole 1 street away

gave the address and thats that...
Leaving it to the imagination I guess -of what is
happening at that address.
He also promises to
be here at 8:30am lol

I am waiting...His ass is grass..

Update:

After a restless night I must say

Garage sales are now officially over

I have the worse sunburn ever.

Undermy eyes are the worse areas.

Top child porn cop steps down

Jun 16 2006 01:13 PM EDT CBC News
Paul Gillespie has stepped down as head of the

Toronto police sex crimes unit after six years
at the helm as Canada's best-known
child-pornography cop.
Since he joined, the 20-person unit has become

a leader in combating child pornography on
the Internet.
Gillespie retired Thursday, he said, in part

because of the emotional toll of seeing
thousands of images of children being
sexually tortured.
But he vowed to continue his fight against

online child porn by setting up an international
centre to train police to fight online child abuse.

Are Judges actually punishing these abusers
to the maximum? Too many times we have
seen the abuser being released again and again
as more and more children become his victims.

Afganistan- more money!!!

Globe and Mail Update
Ottawa pledged another $15-million in aid to

Afghanistan Thursday, with the cash earmarked
for rebuilding rural irrigation systems in the
war-torn nation…
He said Thursday's promise will help Afghanistan
rebuild rural irrigation systems damaged by years
of conflict and neglect.
“For centuries, Afghans have used traditional

irrigation methods to grow their food,” he said.
“Up to 80 per cent of agriculture production is

dependent on irrigation and over half of the
Afghan economy is dependent on agriculture.
“Through Canada's contribution, a certain number
of irrigation systems will be rebuilt, and this will
stimulate food production and help local

agriculture to grow other things other than
poppies for opium which is converted into
illegal drugs.”

I support Mr Harpers plan to help Afganistan's

infrastructure if they agree to stop destroying it.

Violence condemn by Imans...

Imams condemn violence, reassure fellow
Canadians
CanWest News ServiceThursday, June 15, 2006

MONTREAL -- A group of Montreal Shi'a Muslim

imams held a news conference Wednesday to assure
their fellow Canadians they condemn any violence
committed in the name of Islam.
"We stand with them against this kind of action,"

said Nabil Abbas, referring to the recent terrorist
plot police uncovered in Toronto and the
subsequent arrests of 17 young Muslim men as
suspects.
Abbas, who is the imam of an Islamic Lebanese

centre, explained that 10 years ago, Ali Sestani,
the Ayatollah for all Shi'a Muslims in the world and
who lives in Iraq, told Muslims who live in non-Muslim
societies to obey the laws of the land, as long as it
doesn't go against Sharia law.
Sharia law determines things such as child
custody and property division upon divorce.
Things such as abortion and same-sex marriage
would
also go against Sharia law.
Abbas, who says he's the Ayatollah's representative,

said there is a lot of misunderstanding about Islam in
Canada and they want to make it clear to
non-Muslims that the religion is non-violent.
"It is forbidden for a Muslim to do anything

against the security of a people," he said.

While I was in school They did not stand

up when our flag was raised or anthem

played.

Against their religion we were told?

Is this true? Does anyone know?

CANADIAN WIFE KILLER FREE...

After 22 years, Thatcher walks free

CanWest News Service; Regina Leader Post
Thursday, June 15, 2006
REGINA - Colin Thatcher used to walk up the
steps to the stately Saskatchewan legislature building
towards the office he occupied as a provincial cabinet
minister.
But now, the convicted killer will be trudging up the
small step to a federal halfway house, in a city he hasn't
been free to walk around in since he was arrested for
murdering his ex-wife 22 years ago.
Thatcher, 67, is now back in Regina, living at a federal
halfway house that he can leave during the day but
must return to nightly. The National Parole Board
granted him day parole on May 19, after he was
determined to be a low risk to reoffend.......
On day parole, Thatcher's behavior and activities
will be closely monitored by a supervisor, as well as
his compliance with the conditions of his release.
The conditions state Thatcher must participate in
psychological counseling that specifically addresses
issues around his anger, attitude towards women
and capacity for violence and aggression.
He is also required to report all romantic
relationships he may have.
Thatcher was convicted of killing JoAnn Wilson, 43,
on Jan. 21, 1983. Convicted on Nov. 6, 1984, he
was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of
parole for 25 years, but succeeded in convincing
a jury, under the "faint-hope" law to allow him to
seek parole sooner.

IMHO HE SHOULD STAY THERE FOR LIFE.
HE WAS A MINISTER, SOMEONE WE
SHOULD HAVE LOOKED UP TO.

CREBA KILLERS ROUNDED UP?

THE TORONTO STAR SAYS-
8 charged in Creba shooting
Jun. 13, 2006. 12:01 PM
CURTIS RUSH
STAFF REPORTER

Almost six months after 15-year-old Jane Creba

was killed while shopping on Yonge St. on Boxing
Day, police have arrested eight in connection with
the high-profile shooting.
Police rounded up the suspects in a series of early

morning raids around Toronto.
Toronto police Chief Bill Blair announced the arrests

at a press conference this morning.
In addition to the eight arrested, a warrant is out

for a man now in England and police will be seeking
an extradition order.
Another warrant has been issued for a young

offender.
Of the eight charged Tuesday, two adults and one

young offender have been charged with second-degree
murder and six counts of attempted murder.
Four adults and a young offender have also been
charged with manslaughter.
Seventeen others were arrested on drug and firearms

offences.
They will appear in court Wednesday.
Creba, a star athlete and top student in Grade 10 at

Riverdale Collegiate Institute, was shopping when she
was caught in the crossfire between two armed
groups of men who opened fire to settle a dispute.
Six others were also wounded in the shooting.
Within an hour of the shooting, police arrested

two men at Castle Frank subway station, but
neither was charged with killing Creba.
Andre Thompson, 20, and a 17-year-old who

cannot be identified by law, remain in custody
charged with firearms-related offences after
police seized a semi-automatic 9mm Ruger
handgun.
Police have revealed that a number of people

are under witness protection in connection with
the case.
Blair confirmed Tuesday morning that those

eight arrested belonged to two different
gangs or were associates of those gangs.
Two people who were injured in the gunfight

were among those charged, Blair said.
In March, after the case seemed to have gone

cold, police made what appeared to be a
breakthrough when they released six colour
photographs and video footage captured from
the Eaton Centre, the Toronto Transit
Commission, St. Michael's Hospital and
taxi companies.
The video showed a mystery man in a tan suit

at the Eaton Centre moments before the
shooting and later while admitting a wounded
man to hospital.
Police have told reporters that from viewing the

video, there were two groups of men who were
in "combative stances" in various locations
around the Eaton Centre that day.
Police say the shooting was preceded by a clash

inside the Eaton Centre that spilled onto Yonge
St.
On Tuesday, just before 5 a.m., police began

arresting people across the city and taking them
into 52 Division on Dundas St. W.
Police maintained they have been unable to say

what led to the feud on Boxing Day, but some
reports suggest it was something as minor as
one person knocking the hat off another.
Toronto police were under intense pressure to

lay charges in the case, in part because it occurred
in a public venue and involves a significant
number of witnesses and suspects.
In addition to screening massive amounts of

videotape, police interviewed more than 100
people.
Creba's parents, Virginia Barton and Bruce

Creba, have not commented publicly on the
case.
Jane Creba was the 78th homicide of the year in

Toronto

FRIENDSHIP...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than
once and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when
yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and
you'll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and
love like you've never been hurt because every
sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of
happiness you'll never get back.

Aruba and the search 4 natalee...

Is the search for the truth over?
It's practically the middle of June and we are
still waiting for updates on Natalee Holloway a
teenager who mysteriously dissappeared while
vacationing in Aruba.
While she is not the first Foreigner to vanish from
this IDEAL Vacation spot, many Bloggers are not
willing to accept this unexplained vanishing
any longer.
Aruba must declare what caused their
incompetance and the reason for their
unwillingness to continue trying to solve this case.
The moves they have made have not been ones
any decent investigation team worldwide, would
ever have made.
The whole case has been run as if they are being
carefull of stepping on people's toes.
A Girl is DEAD Aruba.
A vacationer that you enticed to your Island
with false promised of safety. You have an
obligation to your guests and their families.
An obligation that comes from running any
type of business for the public.
Yes the rich and young can become Killers.
Killers come from all classes. They are not
all black, poor and on drugs. The responsibility
of finding Natalee still belongs to Aruba.
Where are the other missing tourist that you

A WOMAN'S WARNING...

IF YOU WANT
BREAKFAST IN
BED,
SLEEP IN THE
KITCHEN

A GOOD JOKE!

Forgiveness
Toward the end of the service, the
minister asked,
"How many of you have forgiven your
enemies?"
80% held up their hands.
The minister then repeated the question.
All responded this time, except one
small elderly lady.
"Mrs Jones? Are you not willing to
forgive your enemies?"
"I don't have any." She replied, smiling
sweetly.
"Mrs Jones, that is very unusual.
How old are you?"
"Ninety-eight." She replied.
"Oh Mrs Jones, would you please
come down the front and tell us all
how a person can live to ninety-eight
and not have an enemy in the world?"
The little sweetheart of a lady
tottered down the aisle, faced the
congregation and said,
"I outlived them all."

Alert-Oshawa sex offender released

SEX OFFENDER A DANGER...
June 8, 2006
By Jeff Mitchell
OSHAWA --

Durham police
have issued a warning
about plans by a sex

offender with multiple
convictions to move to

Oshawa.
Cecil Kitch Munro, 47,

has a lengthy criminal
record including six convictions for sex offences.
He was recently released after serving a
three-year term for a sex offence that occurred
in Whitby.
Mr. Munro, who also has a history of violent
offences, served his full prison term after
being denied parole, said Durham
Regional Police Sergeant Paul McCurbin.
"He is someone who has shown he is a
danger to the public," Sgt. McCurbin said.
Durham police made the decision to release
information about the man, including his
picture, after a review by the service's
offender management unit and consultation
with a community panel.
Police have the power to issue public
warnings when it's determined an offender
may be a danger, Sgt. McCurbin said.
Mr. Munro has 54 convictions on his
record, including the six for sex offences.
He has a history of sex assaults on women
and young children, police said.
Court-imposed restrictions ban Mr. Munro
from being alone with anyone under 18, or
from frequenting parks, schools, swimming
pools and other areas where youngsters
may congregate.
He's also been ordered not to use drugs
and alcohol.
Durham police are also seeking a hearing
under Section 810.1 of the Criminal Code which,
if successful, would impose further restrictions
on the man.
The onus would be on the Crown to prove
such restrictions are warranted to protect the
public.
"It is a restrictive bond that helps us to
monitor his activities," Sgt. McCurbin said.
Sgt. McCurbin said public notifications
such as the one issued about Mr. Munro's
release are unusual.
"This particular process is for (offenders)
we believe are more dangerous than
others," he said.
Police aren't saying exactly where the
man intends to reside.
He was released from a treatment centre
in Kingston on Wednesday.
Mr. Munro stands 5-feet-7 and weighs
200 pounds.
He has light brown wavy hair and blue
eyes.
He has tattoos of a heart with a banner
in his left arm and "Mother" on his right arm.
Police are urging members of the public to
contact them if they become aware of
any breaches of the man's court-imposed

restrictions.

Karla's name change refused...

Isn't it amazing how easy
it is for criminals to go on
with their lives while the
devastated
families struggle for years the impact
that the murders have left on them?

By CP
MONTREAL -- Karla Leanne Teale, better known as convicted
killer Karla Homolka, has failed in her latest legal attempt to
change her name, TVA said yesterday.
The TV network said Homolka wanted to become
Emily Chiara Tremblay -- one of the most common surnames
in Quebec.
A judge reportedly turned down the bid after the Crown
argued that Homolka's lawyer was late in appealing
the rejection of an earlier request for a name change.
Homolka was released from a Montreal-area prison last
July after serving a 12-year manslaughter term for the
murders of Ontario teens Leslie Mahaffy and Kristen French
in the 1990s.
Although she initially had conditions placed on her release,
she successfully appealed those and now goes about
her business with no restrictions.
She is still believed to be living in Quebec but has not
been recognized in public for several months. She was
last spotted last summer when it was learned she
was working at a hardware store in nearby Longueuil.
Homolka initially petitioned for the name change on the
grounds that it was important to her personal security.
However, Quebec officials ruled the public was not
significantly familiar with the name she now goes
under, Karla Leanne Teale.
Teale is a surname she and former husband
Paul Bernardo picked up from a movie about a serial killer.
Bernardo is serving a life sentence for

the French and Mahaffy murders.

SEEDYRUM COME OUT AND PLAY..

Aruba -One of the most dangerous islands
presently....

Khadr has right to passport

Federal Court rules that
Abdurahman Khadr may not be a "model citizen,"
But that does not mean the federal government
had the right to deny him a Canadian passport
for national security reasons, the Federal Court
ruled yesterday.

OKAY
so where is he gonna fly to while on the no fly
list?
hahahahahahahahaha
joker or what?
But the win could be short-lived for Khadr,
since the ruling by Justice Michael Phelan
also made it clear that the federal government
would be well within its rights to revoke
the passport on those same grounds once
it's granted.
hhehehee

Djoegan died of overdoses

ARUBA -- Dinesh 'Pitbull' Djoegan had died of
overdoses cocaine. At this moment, the
Public Prosecutor (OM) does not have
evidence that the 25-year old man that was
found dead in the vicinity of the Guadirikiri cave
on April 5th was murdered.
Four suspects have been arrested and the
examining magistrate has prolonged the
custody of one of them with 8 days.
On Tuesday, Pitbull's widow and her mother
had talked with the district attorney, who
leads the investigation on the death of
Djoegan.
The OM does not comment on the contents
of this conversation.
All they said was that in order to determine
the cause of death, they had to send
tests to the Netherlands.
The family was informed that Pitbull was
not murdered, but had an amount of
cocaine in his body. There is a possibility
that he was forced to take the drug.
The OM is also investigating the relation
between the cause of death and the fact
that Djoegan was found burned and crucified.
Last weekend, the police arrested two
men and two women in connection with
this case.
One of them, M.L. was taken before the
examining magistrate on Tuesday afternoon.
He was already in prison for illegal
possession of firearms and cocaine balls.

Aruba never fails to amaze us.
Here is a man that overdosed on cocaine
asumingly then cut up his own body and

What is your police department doing to

NEW York court could ever imagine
