Mourners gather for funeral of slain 19-year-old

Mourners gathered Saturday afternoon for the funeral of
19-year-old Chantel Dunn who was shot and killed on
Feb. 6 outside the Northwood Community Centre in
Toronto's west end.
Many arrived at the Praise Cathedral Worship Centre in
Mississauga clutching a single white rose trying to
come to terms with her senseless murder.
MEANWHILE
Guardian Angels hold Toronto recruiting session

The Guardian Angels, a New York-based community patrol
team, were in Toronto on Sunday recruiting for their
Canadian chapter.
The group did a test run on Toronto streets last month but
received a cool reception from the mayor and police chief.
But the response at the recruiting session was a success.
"I just want to do my part to try to make the streets a little
bit safer for everybody," potential recruit
