Once again the families of Kristen French and
Leslie Mahaffy be forced to relive the memories
of their children’s murders.
How callous and horrid.
Karla, the film depicting the murders of teenagers,
will be released Canada-wide on Jan. 20,
Montreal-based Christal Films announced this
morning.
The family will tried to stop the release.
Quantum Entertainment, the Hollywood film
company behind Karla, agreed to remove several
scenes — including one eight-frame shot that
depicted nudity – after allowing Tim Danson, a
lawyer for the French and Mahaffy families to
screen the film.

Karla, to carry the 104-minute film which explores
the murderous activities of Homolka and her
then-husband, Paul Bernardo, in Southwestern
Ontario in 1991 and 1992. The 35-year-old
Homolka was released from prison in July
last year and reportedly now lives in the
Montreal area.
SAD BUT TRUE!

The murderous couple
makes headlines again!
