Alabama Senate Supports Aruba Boycott
Montgomery, Ala.
The Associated Press
The Alabama Senate voted Thursday to
support Gov. Bob Riley in his call for a
boycott of Aruba.
State Sen. Steve French of Birmingham got
the Senate to vote 27-0 for a resolution
supporting the governor.
French says the resolution was requested
by the family of Natalee Holloway.
The teenager who lived in Mountain Brook,
Ala., disappeared May 30, 2005, while on a
graduation trip to the Caribbean island.
Holloway is a Mississippi native, whose
father, Dave Holloway, lives in Meridian.
The Senate's resolution says a boycott is
needed because the investigation into
Holloway's disappearance
"has been plagued with an unacceptable
amount of missteps, miscommunications
and inconsistencies."
NOTHING FROM THIS ISLAND
HAS BEEN THE TRUTH!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING
ON THERE?
