Respecting Others.
Because we are all created
differently, we have different
levels of sensitivity.
The emotional and physical
responses, we show when
we react to how others treat
us, is called feelings.
Sometimes our reactions are
positive and other times
negative.
The way we feel cannot be
ignored or stopped.
We need to reconize our
feelings to know how
others feel
when they are treated unkindly or in a hurtful manner.
When we act responsibly towards our feelings, in both
words and actions, we learn to respect ourselves and
others.
Many people experience emotional hurt that makes
them react in a physical, emotional, or verbal way that
is harmful to themselves and others.
Family members and friends need to think about what
they say to each other.
Words can hurt as much as a physical hit, and can be more
dangerous to some individuals within your family or
around you.
Hurting someone you do not know by harmful remarks
shows a lack of respect for yourself and others.
Your friends may laugh but what are they really thinking
inside?
Are the laughing at the person you have hurt?
or behind your back?
Respectful has to be shown before you can willing recieve
it and recognize it for what it is.
Welcomed, Appreciated, Recognized, and Supported.
