Open communication goes hand in hand with relationships.
The quickest way to kill any relationship is by not
expressing yourself.
Positive attitudes are needed to get your point across.
When you begin dumping or putting blame on a partner,
the partner shuts off all communication efforts and goes
into defensive modes.
You need to communicate in a quiet and private area of
your home.
Free from interruptions. One partner may not wish to face
up to problems in a relationship, and may try to resist.
You need to say “I love you lets work on this together.
We will find a solution.”
You can start the talk with something simple like
“How was your week?” this relaxes your partner and
begins them talking. Steer the conversation to the topic
you want to discuss.
Remember If communication breaks down the
relationship begins to lag.
You will find less and less positive things to share and
begin to drift apart.
You cannot always have things your way.
So if you open the lines to communication, be prepared
to see little defects in your makeup too. Working together
with a little password between you can help you modify
behavior habits that may irritate each of you.
A smile at the time you use the password helps your
partner know you are only helping him/her along, not
accusing.
