Karla Homolka will remain free to live and work where

she wants after a Quebec court rejected a Crown
bid to re-instate restrictions on the convicted killer.
Quebec's attorney general has failed to convince the

highest court in the province to hear Homolka's case.
It's a second legal victory in a row for the woman who

served her full sentence in connection with the killings
of two Ontario school girls.
The Court of Appeal has ruled, in effect, that the lower

court decision throwing out Homolka's conditions of
release made no mistakes in law.

Homolka's lawyer, Christian Desrosiers said the

Court of Appeal and the Superior Court came to the
right conclusion.
"It was a good judgement of the Superior Court.

He retained all the arguments represented and the
Court of Appeal decided there were no mistakes
in law," Desrosiers said.
Desrosiers says he hopes the ruling puts an end to

the legal proceedings against his client.

Mr Desrosiers I hope you will stand by your word,
You will be partially responsible for her next victim.
Hope you can live with that?
