The two prisoners that escaped from the KIA last Sunday
are still on the run. -ARE WE SURPRISED?
Despite massive and intensive police search, there is still
no trace of the dangerous two.
-LIKELY WENT THE SAME WAY AS NATALEE
AND FELL THROUGH THE CRACKS!
Police commissioner Gerold Dompig is extremely critical
about the escape and the way KIA has reacted.
The Colombian Francisco Javier Lopez Velez (45)
and the Venezuelan Carlos Alfredo Arias (32) were
missing around 11:00 last Sunday during the distribution
of the lunch.
The police was notified 30 minutes later.
That was too late, said Dompig.
-WHY WHAT COULD THE ALE DO?
These men had all the time to leave the prison premises.
He confirmed that both prisoners are extremely dangerous.
Velez sat out five of his 20-years sentence for shooting
and killing a bank employee, while Arias was sitting out
a 6-year sentence for firing on police officials.
THEY DID NOT HIDE THE BODIES TOO BAD!
After the KIA had notified the police of the escape,
the guards were no longer allowed to search the outside
of the prison, because that is police work. It was not until
noon that the helicopter went up.
The police searched the immediate surroundings of the
KIA and also the empty houses of Seroe Colorado.
The police are targeting the houses that are occupied by
people of the same nationality of the two fugitives.
Dompig emphasizes that help harbouring fugitives is a
crime and is punishable.
But breaking out of prison is not punishable.
Suspects have rights.
It is the government's responsibility to keep detainees
inside the prison walls, and not the responsibility of
the prisoners. The criminal investigation service is very
frustrated with the escape.
Police and the Public prosecutor did their utmost to lock
up these people.
It cannot be that prisoners can just walk away from the
prison.
Nothing shows that they have broken out
