Safety First When On Dates!!!!

Time after Time we are told to always be on our
guard when out on a date with someone you
barely know.
Yet time after time we get into a comfort zone
and all our cares go out the door.
Not everyone you date or meet is a serial killer
or abuser etc, but you do not know this and it is
better to be safe than to be sorry.
Many girls go out on dates and never return.
DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!
Here are some tips on staying safe.
1. Arrange to meet your date in a public place.

Don't let him pick you up from your home.
2. Consider double dating, it is better for younger

couple’s or go out with a group of people you know.
3. Go Dutch. Pay half of the bill that way you

won't feel under any obligation to return the
favor if you do not care for the individual.
4. Alcohol on a first date is a bad move. You are

getting to know this person and what they are like.
Drinking will affect your judgment and lessens
your inhibitions.
5. Make sure you have reliable transportation

home and your parents/friends know where
you are and whom you are with.
6. Being religious does not automatically make

a date safe. There are a lot of religious nuts out
there.
7. If you would like to meet this person again

- follow the same rules.
8. Avoid secluded areas such as parks; alleys

and anywhere that makes you feel uncomfortable.
9 If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. If you

feel it is not going to work out, don’t be afraid to
cancel your date. Stay in a safe public area
until someone you trust picks you up.
10. Its ok to check in with friends and parents

when on a date…let him know you are special
and someone knows you are with him.
