Christmas just round the corner

I am sitting here at 11:30pm wondering how to begin the
christmas decorating and planning.
The time I need and the list of things I still need to buy.
I even went shopping for decorations for my tree today.
Two malls later I sadly leave with 2 rolls of christmas paper.
What I felt I needed just wasn't there.
I wanted a lift a little variation from the usuall reds, gold,
silver and green decorations.
I saw purple and bright pinks and Blues.
Bland Pastel shaded balls for the tree that did nothing for
my imagination.
Its creepy up closer day by day and I am unprepared.
Luckily I know I am not the only Family member at a lost.
I am staying away from helping them out this year.
No more last minute lighting up outside trees and
1 hr removing fir tree needles from my hair. I held the
ladder last year while my cousin replaced the burnt
out lights 1 week before christmas.
Did I mention It was cold?
its canada! what did I expect?
well for one hot chocolate and a pastry as I helped
decorate a tree as christmas carols played.
was that too much?
The tree did not make it up that night until the day
before christmas eve.
that hassle is out this year.
My tree will be heavy with a blue and silver theme and
large white bows......I think
Oh it could change times are early still OR IS IT?

Here is a Tree trimming snack idea I found:

Party Mix

3/4 cup raw unsalted cashews, chopped
1 cup raw almonds, slivered
1 cup organic raisins - red
1 cup organic raisins - green (or use 2 cups red)
1/4 cup raw coconut, chopped

Options: Add chopped dry unsulfured apricots

and/or other dried fruits

Mix and store in cool, dry place.
