IN THE CLOSET!
Shepherds used to dislike black sheep as
their fleeces were worth less than those
of white sheep.
Warning: old joke ahead.
'Why do black sheep eat less than white
ones?'. There aren't as many of them.'

Skeletons in the Closet?
You find some in every family of all
classes of society. Distant relatives
no one talks to anymore because of
something THEYdid that was totally
unacceptable. No one remembers the
true story anymore, but the smell of
disgust is still fresh, like the smell of
a newly kill skunk. They family no
one invites to family functions, or
weddings ANYMORE.
There may even be a grey sheep or
two, EVEN NOW living on the edge.
Grey sheeps are Family members that
are looked at and spoken off in a
negative light.
Or a fat sheep like me, who tries hard
to be the life of the party while
looking on at all her skinny family
members in envy.
Some of these family grudges goes
beyond a generation or two.
As one grows older, family obligations
and responsibilities get heavier.
This is especially true in an Asian
household, where children are
expected to care for their parents
upon coming of age.
In North American cultures we
tend to put our elderly in homes to
be better cared for.
(or more likely out of sight out
of mind reasons.)
Our elderly can also distance
themselves from their unacceptable
children.
A two way street I assume.
But what of our young black sheep?
The child, who's always in trouble,
whom stretches limits, take things
too far, and never fits in.
A child whom ever teacher wishes
was not in their class, except for
those special caring teachers who
still exist today.
Passing judgement, on a child or
others without seeing the real them
is like locking them away with a
key because they do not fit your
ideals or expectations.
All of us are different some us
bring home high marks, others
have to work at it.
Some of us get lucky breaks,
others have to fight or give up.
Some kids are very popular,
some are not.
We cannot push a child to follow
in another’s footsteps as who
will walked in theirs?
Raising a child like this is a challenge.
Its is all about unconditional love.
Unconditional love for your child
as you battle to protect your family
from the unimaginable evil that
threatens them.
Instead of looking at the neighbour’s
perfect children, remember that
working with your rule-breakers
comes challenges and possible the
greatest rewards.
The rewards of respect, honor,
forgiveness, peace and above all a
love that can go forever will be in
your memory.
Remember that no matter what
your child does, that flame of
unconditional love should never
go out.
