Parents accuse teacher of bullying,
sue for damages

The parents of a nine-year-old Montreal boy are
suing a teacher and the English Montreal School
Board, saying their son suffered because of his
teacher's behaviour.
The civil lawsuit names teacher Mary Kanavaros,
Roslyn School and the school board for not putting
a stop to it.
Mathew Artinian was a grade four student last year
at Roslyn School, and according to documents filed
in court, he was fearful and constantly victimized by
his French immersion teacher.
