SURINAM Versus ARUBA....

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE...
‘100 jobs at stake at SLM’
CURACAO/PARAMARIBO –
The financial situation of Surinam airline company
Surinam Airways (SLM) does not look promising.
In connection with necessary economization, it
is very much likely that 100 people will loose their
jobs.
Luchtvaartnieuws.nl mentioned that and got
the information from the Surinam newspaper
De Ware Tijd.
The general shareholder meeting will soon
announce the policy for the near future.
SLM-director Henk Jessurun doesn’t want to give
any information until the matter is discussed
within the board and with the personnel.

AIRLINE MUST BE RUN BY THE ALE!!!!!

The needy company will also have to decide
whether it chooses for growth or consolidation.
SLM has one Boeing 747 that they acquired a
few years ago from KLM for mid-Atlantic
flights and an MD-82 that they use on the
Curacao and Aruba routes.
