Briton to miss murdered wife and child's funeral

A Briton who went into hiding following the murders of his wife
and baby daughter is not expected to attend their funeral later.
Rachel Entwistle, 27, and the couple's nine-month-old daughter
Lillian will be buried ten days after they were found shot dead
in a bed in their home in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
Neil Entwistle, who is believed to have flown to the UK before
the grim discovery, has been ruled out as a suspect but he
has been labelled a "person of interest" by the US authorities.
He left his parents' house in Worksop, Notts, for an unknown
destination accompanied by his father Clifford and mother
Yvonne ahead of the funeral but he is not expected to be
heading to the US. Dressed casually and without any
visible bags, Mr Entwistle ignored questions about his
destination and kept his head down in the back of the
family car. "Police have been in contact with both Scotland
Yard and local police, who have provided investigators with
updates as to Neil Entwistle's whereabouts in the
United Kingdom," a statement from the DA's office said.
"Investigators in Massachusetts do not believe that
Mr Entwistle will attend local services for his wife and
daughter."
The DA's office said UK authorities were continuing to help
detectives in Massachusetts.
