CTV news is reporting that Montreal police have the
fourth man sought for questioning in custody, following
the slaying of a 17-year-old gas-station attendant.
Sergio Moniz, 27, was arrested in downtown Montreal

overnight for allegedly breaking the conditions of his
conditional release stemming from charges that are
not related to Brigitte Serre's murder, police said in
a recorded message.
In a story published on Sunday, Moniz claims he had

nothing to do with the murder and is innocent.
"I have a seven-year-old child," Moniz told Le Journal

de Montreal. "I would never do such horrible things."
Moniz alibi is he was in a hotel with his girlfriend the

night of the murder and wants to clear his name.
Two others are already in custody-
Tommy Gagne, 19, and Sebastien Simon, 18.

On Friday, another suspect, 18-year-old Joel Nantais,
turned himself in to police headquarters accompanied
by a lawyer.
Police said Nantais faces charges including armed robbery

and forcible confinement.
Serre was killed while working alone on an overnight

shift early Wednesday.
An autopsy has been performed on Serre, but the results

will not be released until the homicide squad has
completed its investigation.
A steady stream of mourners has visited the funeral

home where Serre lay before her funeral, which is to
be held in Montreal on Monday morning.
