Khadr seeks bail today-Mother shows her respect?

A Canadian accused of supplying weapons to al-Qaida and
plotting to kill Pakistan's prime minister will be seeking his
freedom in a Toronto courtroom today.
Department of justice lawyer Robin Parker said she'll

be opposing the release of Abdullah Khadr, 24, when his
lawyers bring their bail application in Superior Court.
Describing the case against Khadr as "complex," Parker

said she'll be relying upon the information from American
documents in which Khadr is alleged to have admitted
his role in supplying explosives for land mines to be
used against Americans in Afghanistan.
If Khadr is detained, he'll be in custody until he

faces extradition on the U.S. charges.
With his brother, Abdurahman , mother and

grandmother seated behind him, Khadr
appeared briefly in court under tight security
yesterday.
His mother remained seated when the judge

entered the room, defying court customs.
She refused to stand despite the urgings of her
son Abdurahman, 22.
The family and their lawyer Dennis Edney declined comment.

THIS IS THE RESPECT CANADA GETS FROM IT 'S
IMMIGRANTS BUT THEY WANT US TO RESPECT
THEM.
WELL RESPECT IS A 2 WAY STREET.
RESPECT CANADAS FLAG AND CUSTOMS AS
WE RESPECT YOURS.
