OUR LAWS AND VALUES ....
THIS IS A WESTERN COUNTRY.......
Quit Afghan mission or endure attack like 9/11, threat
says

Stewart Bell
National Post
Saturday, October 28, 2006

OTTAWA - An al-Qaeda strategist has warned Canada
to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan or face terrorist
attacks similar to 9/11, Madrid and the London transit
bombings.
The threat, attributed to a member of the al-Qaeda
information and strategy committee, condemns
Prime Minister Stephen Harper for refusing to pull out
of Afghanistan.
It also refers to Canada's "fanatic adherence to
Christianity" as well as its purported attempts to "damage
the Muslims" and its support for the "Christian Crusade"
against al-Qaeda.
"Despite the strong, increasing opposition to spread
its forces in the fire of South Afghanistan, it seems
that they will not learn the lesson easily," Hossam
Abdul Raouf writes.
"They will either be forced to withdraw their forces
or face an operation similar to New York, Madrid,
London and their sisters, with the help of Allah."
The document, written in July, was obtained and
translated by the SITE Institute, a U.S. non-profit
group that monitors terrorist Web sites for clients,
many of them in government.
It is the second reference in recent weeks to al-Qaeda
singling out Canada because of its role in Afghanistan.
Last month, Osama bin Laden's deputy, Ayman
Al-Zawahiri, referred to Canadian troops in
Kandahar as "second-rate Crusaders."
The increasing focus on Canada in jihadist propaganda
follows last June's arrest of 17 terrorist suspects in
Toronto and comes as Canada is debating its role in
NATO-led combat operations in southern Afghanistan.
The text of the threat suggests that al-Qaeda is
aware of divisions within Canada over the mission,
pointing to public opinion polls and opposition within
Parliament.
It is also consistent with analysis by Canadian
intelligence officials who report that al-Qaeda views
Canada as a "priority target" because of the country's
high-profile role in Afghanistan and its close relationship
with the United States in the war on terrorism.
"Despite the differences between the Canadian foreign
policy and its U.S. counterpart, and despite the hatred
the Canadian people harbour towards the Americans
-- their bad neighbours who cannot hold back their
damage from them -- they agree with them regarding
leading the Christian Crusade in Afghanistan and
confronting al-Qaeda there," it says.
"They use the same excuses that are used by the
British and others.
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said:
'The Canadians learned from the 9/11 attacks against
the U.S. that a terrorist threat can enter into our
private borders.
The Afghani government wants us there, and we are
fighting a truly abominable enemy.
This is in our national interest.
I believe that what we are doing is extraordinary.
We will take a commanding role in the province of Kandahar.' "
The suspected "homegrown"
Canadian extremists arrested by the RCMP in Toronto
on June 2 were allegedly motivated partly by
their anger over Afghanistan.
Authorities claim they intended to take hostages
on Parliament Hill and kill the Prime Minister unless
he withdrew troops from Afghanistan and released
all Muslims from Canadian prisons.
The new threat claims Canada is only in Afghanistan
to assert itself on the global stage for economic and
religious reasons.
"Its fanatic adherence to Christianity makes it rush
to the financial aid of any issue that will damage the
Muslims and strengthen their enemies," the 66-page
document claims.
Rita Katz, director of the SITE Institute, said not much
was known about the author of the document, Hossam
Abdul Raouf, except that he is described as a member
of al-Qaeda's information and strategy committee and
editor of the electronic periodical Vanguards of Kharasan.
"Abdul Raouf seems to be very knowledgeable in
understanding the Western strategy, and in data mining,
as demonstrated greatly in this publication," she said.
The threat was posted on Arabic-language jihadist Web
forums commonly used to disseminate al-Qaeda-related
training and propaganda materials.
At a conference yesterday, Jim Judd, director of the
Canadian Security Intelligence Service, said the
Internet had "assumed enormous importance" among
today's terrorists.
"It has in some respects been transformed into a
terrorist university, obviating the past need for travel
to a conflict zone for 'on-the-job training.' "
He said successful attacks are videotaped and
transmitted online and recipes for bombs made of
commercially available ingredients are on the
Internet as well as tips on what to do when arrested.
"It is, as well, developing into a medium of
radicalization for many who are inspired by a variety
of propaganda tools flowing across it. Inspirational
rallying cries from far-flung proponents of terrorism
or videos of attacks on military forces in Iraq and
Afghanistan and elsewhere circulate freely."
The "ideology of al-Qaeda" remains today's principal
terrorist threat, he said, adding last August's plots to
bomb passenger planes over the Atlantic are a
"dramatic reminder" that terrorists remain capable
of mounting attacks on the scale of 9/11.
Speaking at the Canadian Association of Security and
Intelligence Studies conference in Ottawa, the
intelligence chief said that because of the cross-border
nature of the threat, CSIS needs to ramp up its
operations overseas.
"While we have had personnel operating abroad for
some time, it is obvious that we need to further
build our capacity to function outside Canada more
effectively," Mr. Judd said.
Sir Richard Dearlove, who served as chief of the
British Secret Intelligence Service until 2004,
urged Canada to set up a foreign intelligence
agency within the next decade.
Although Canada does not have a foreign spy
service, CSIS is allowed to collect national security
intelligence overseas and has been increasingly
active abroad, in countries such as Afghanistan.

THE ARUBIAN INVESTIGATION CLOUD....

HMMMMM..........

When the Kalpoe brothers and
Van der Sloot were released from
custody in September 2005, then
-Police Chief Gerold Dompig was
still certain they were involved in
Natalee's disappearance, telling
AMW, "I have a gut feeling that
they're guilty...either it's murder,
or an accident, or rape...but something happened, and they were
surely involved."

Police Chief Gerold Dompig as all the police investigators
of this case last at the most a couple of months.

IS THAT A PROBLEM OR WHAT?

Story with a TWIST!!!

Bodies may be couple missing
for 50 years
The Canadian Press(Oct 23, 2006)
Joan Van Mierlo long ago gave up any hope
of knowing what happened to her parents
who vanished half a century ago while out boating at the
family's cottage.
Now it has all come back.
OPP divers have found a boat, outboard motor and
human remains 26 metres below the surface of Trout
Lake, a few kilometres east of the family's hometown of
North Bay.
Recent media reports revisiting the disappearance of Allan
and Margaret Campbell on May 29, 1956, spawned
new tips that aided the search.
"After all this time ... it's such a surreal kind of thing,"
Van Mierlo said from her home in Winnipeg.
"People keep using that word 'closure,'" she said.
"Right now it feels like a reopening of something very
painful.
Eventually this is going to be a wonderful thing for
me, but right now I'm going to deal with it one
day at a time."
The youngest of four daughters, Van Mierlo,
now 60, was just 10 when her parents went
missing.
She went to live with her eldest sister who was
married with her own children at the time.
Van Mierlo was young enough to be shielded from
the many rumours that swirled around the
small community:
Did her parents drown?
Was it an accident or murder?
Or did they simply abandon their family?
The remains must still be tested and positively
identified.
But police said the exact cause of the accident
may never be known.

Convicted Sex Offender Chooses Canadian Exile Over Jail

A JOKE OR WHAT?

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Jail or Canada? Malcolm Watson chose
Canada.
In an unusual sentence that has immigration lawyers
questioning its legality, the U.S. citizen has agreed to stay
out of the United States for the next three years as
punishment for having sex with a 15-year-old female
student.
The exile starts Monday for the 35-year-old former
Buffalo Seminary teacher, who was arrested in April
after a mall security guard noticed him and the girl
sitting in a parked car for two hours.
Erie County District Attorney Frank Clark called the
plea deal "a little dicey" but said the girl's family was
happy with it.
Under the sentence for sexual abuse imposed by
Cheektowaga Town Court, Watson can enter the
United States only to report to his probation officer.
Watson already lives across the border in Fort Erie,
Ontario, with his Canadian wife and three children.
But exiling a citizen is unheard of, said
Robert Kolken, a Buffalo immigration lawyer.
"I don't see how a judge sitting in a criminal court
in the U.S can lawfully banish a citizen as a condition
of sentencing," he said.
Cheektowaga Justice Thomas Kolbert could not
be reached for comment.
Another immigration lawyer, Robert Berger, warned
that Watson could be barred from entering Canada
because of his new criminal record.
Even Watson's lawyer, Oscar Smukler, said he was
surprised by the deal.
"We did some research on the question of whether
Canada might consider throwing [Watson] out, which
would make him a man without a country," Smukler
said.
The alternative sentence?
As much as a year behind bars.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Human remains that appear to be from
World Trade Center victims were found by utility workers in a

A Consolidated Edison crew doing excavation of the manhole
at street level found the remains, some as big as arm or leg

WHERE IS NATALEE HOLLOWAY?

The Question is being asked over and over...
Why has no evidence been found?
How could these boys without Police help
have cleaned up this crime?
Where is Natalee's final resting place?
Do these pboys believe in GOD and will they
be able to face him on the final day?
Tracing Natalee's Steps

Natalee Ann Holloway had just graduated from Mountain Brook High School in Birmingham, Ala. She was looking forward to attending the University of Alabama on a full academic scholarship.

On an unofficial annual senior trip Natalee and approximately 130 of her classmates ventured thousands of miles away to enjoy the white sands and blue waters of Aruba.

For five days the recent graduates and seven chaperones relaxed, sun bathed and enjoyed the Aruba nightlife.

Dressed in the same blue and green striped low-cut blouse and jean miniskirt that she wore at the beach earlier in the day, Holloway spent Sunday evening partying at Carlos 'N Charlie's, a popular restaurant and dance spot where tourists and locals meet in the Aruban capital, Oranjestad.

Monday morning, May 31, 2005 when the rest of the group gathered to catch their flight, Natalee was no where to be found.

Carlos N' Charlie's master of ceremonies, Jose Hernandez, saw Natalee leave about 10 minutes before the restaurant's 1 a.m. closing. He reports that nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Meanwhile, some of Natalee's friends say they saw her getting into a vehicle outside the nightclub.

CANADA'S HAS A TRUE LEADER AT LAST!

PM affirms support for Israel
But peaceful end to conflict urged Tempers
stancein Toronto speech
Oct. 19, 2006. 01:00 AM
LES WHITTINGTON
OTTAWA BUREAU
Prime Minister Stephen Harper came to Toronto last night to
reaffirm his unwavering support for Israel, saying Canada
must stand firm against the enemies of the Jewish state.
But in an apparent attempt to moderate his position on
Middle East issues, Harper took time in a speech to leaders
of the Jewish community to stress the need for a peaceful
solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
And far from repeating his accusations that the Liberals
are anti-Israel, the Prime Minister said it's not hard to see
how opposition politicians would be critical of the
Conservatives' strong support of Israel's actions during
last summer's eruption of violence in the region.
It was a different approach than the one Harper took last
week, when he said Liberal leadership candidate
Michael Ignatieff's suggestion that the Israeli military had
committed a war crime during its attack on Lebanon
was typical of that party's negative attitude toward Israel.
"I understand that, with the news reports of the day, in
the sound of battle and the images of destruction and
suffering of innocents, it is sometimes difficult to see
what is truly at stake," he said during a dinner speech
to B'nai Brith Canada.
In what an aide said was a fresh attempt by the
Prime Minister to focus on the need for peace in the
Middle East, Harper said it's vital to "seek a fair and
just future for the Palestinian people."
"Our government believes in a two-state solution — in
a secure, democratic and prosperous Israel living beside
a viable, democratic and peaceful Palestinian state."
Harper's unstinting support of Israel has won new
backing for the federal Tories among otherwise staunch
Liberals. But he has been subjected to sharp criticism
by opponents who say he has abandoned Canada's
traditional role as a neutral peace broker in the
Middle East and played politics with a dangerously
divisive issue in Canada.
Some observers believe discontent with Harper's foreign
policies, particularly among Quebecers, has been partly
responsible for the Conservatives' inability to show
growth in national opinion polls recently.
But while seeking to temper his Middle East position,
Harper left no doubt that the Conservative government
is solidly behind Israel.
Though saying he understood why Canadians worried
during the fighting in Israel and Lebanon last summer
that the Tories were unduly favouring Israel, Harper
added that it would be a mistake not to stand firmly
behind the Israelis.
Alluding to the rise of Nazi Germany, the
Prime Minister said it must be remembered "that those
who seek to destroy the Jews will, for the same
reason, ultimately seek to destroy us all."
He said Hezbollah, which touched off last summer's war
by kidnapping Israeli soldiers, is a terrorist organization
and as such will be opposed by Canada as part of its
wider campaign against terrorists abroad and at home.
"We are fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. We have
arrested alleged terrorists here in Toronto.
"Therefore, it is very straightforward," Harper said
forcefully. "When it comes to dealing with a war between
Israel and a terrorist organization, this country, and this
government, cannot and will not be neutral."
The remark drew a standing ovation from the audience
of more than a thousand corporate executives, political
figures — including the master-of-ceremonies, former
Liberal premier David Peterson — and Jewish
community leaders.
The audience also applauded intensely when Harper
stressed the need to find a peaceful solution to Middle
East tensions.

ONTARIO TACKLES DATE RAPE DRUG!

Liquor law change aimed at date rape
Patrons can take alcohol to washrooms
Goal is to stop spiking drinks with drugs
Oct. 17, 2006. 05:46 AM
ROB FERGUSON
QUEEN'S PARK BUREAU

She's not crazy about taking her drink into a nightclub
washroom to prevent it from being spiked with a date
rape drug.
But Theresa Palumbo is glad that option could soon be
legal under proposed reforms that would modernize
Ontario liquor laws dating to 1944.
"It's probably a good idea because date rape is very
serious," the Ryerson University student said yesterday
after Government Services Minister Gerry Phillips
unveiled the changes at a campus pub.
The big question is: Where's a young woman to put her
drink given the sanitary state of some bar bathrooms?
"People find it gross to bring drinks into the bathroom
anyway, so I don't know," said Palumbo, in her second
year of graphic arts management.
Phillips said the reforms, to be detailed in legislation
coming Thursday, are designed to be
more "consumer friendly" and would also:
Make it legal to stroll through a winery's vineyards
with a glass of the grape.
Permit makers of beer, wine and liquor to sell samples
of their drinks for a nominal fee on their premises.
Increase scrutiny for restaurants and bars seeking
liquor licences.
Allow pilot projects in which charity bingo
halls — hard hit by the government's tough new
anti-tobacco act that prohibits smoking in indoor
public places — could sell alcoholic drinks as a way
of boosting revenues.
Help is needed, but Ian Edward, executive director
of the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club, said he's
not convinced booze at bingo is going to provide that
help given that about 70 per cent of regular clients
were smokers.
The changes aimed at reducing date rape emerged
as the "number one" issue during months of
consultations with the hospitality industry, police
and other interested parties, said Phillips.
But bars and clubs must apply to have their liquor
licences changed to permit drinks in washrooms,
he added. Government officials did not know how much
that might cost or how long it would take.
"We certainly hope there wouldn't be any cost associated
with it," said Michael Ferrabee of the
Canadian Restaurant and Food Services Association,
which has been pressing for this change for years.
It's "completely ridiculous" to have to tell people,
especially women, not to take drinks into a washroom
given the risks of leaving drinks unattended, said
co-owner David Stearn of Rivoli, a popular club.
"We didn't feel comfortable insisting," added Stearn,
who added he's never heard of any date rape
incidents perpetrated at Rivoli.
As the law now stands, it's illegal to take drinks out
of a licensed room at a bar and go into hallways or
stairwells to washrooms. That would no longer be
the case if the legislation were passed.
"Patrons will never have to leave their drinks
unattended and risk someone slipping them
drugs," said Phillips.
"As society changes, so does criminal behaviour...
Times change and we have to change with the times."
Many bars and clubs place tables outside the
washrooms to patrons to place their drinks on.
"I don't know if I would leave my drink out," said a
bartender at Big Bop on Queen St. W. "If there's a
crazy kid out there, it's easy to do something."
British Columbia has allowed bar patrons to take
drinks into washrooms for four years, said government
officials, who did not have any statistics on the
prevalence of date rape.
But recent studies have shown it is an under-reported
crime because women are embarrassed or don't
realize what's happened soon enough.
Date rape drugs can be metabolized in as little
as 12 hours, leaving no traces in the bloodstream.
If the government wants to put a bigger dent in
date rape, it needs to do more than allow women
to take their drinks into bar washrooms, observers
said.
That means more public education for young men
and women about booze and how it can impact
judgment, said Caroline Rabbat, manager of the
community safety office at the University of Toronto.
She applauded the change aimed at reducing the
odds of drinks being spiked with date rape drugs
but noted: "Alcohol itself is still the date rape
drug of choice."
University of Toronto student Vincenza Mazzeo, 22,
told the Star's Phinjo Gombu that the government
proposal was only a "partial solution."
"The law can only work to a certain extent," said
Mazzeo, who was having a drink last night with a
friend at the Madison Avenue Pub near Bloor St. W.
and Spadina Ave. "After that it's up to the individual
to ensure that the drink is not spiked.
"You yourself need to make choices that ensure
you are not putting yourself in harm's way.
That would be not leaving your drink unattended
and making sure you are aware of where it is and
who is in your space at all times."
Aimee Garrett, 23, a human resources assistant
heading into a pub last night with two friends,
said the proposed law simply legitimized what she
always does.
"It's a good idea because I bring my drink to the
washroom regardless, so now I don't have to
hide it," said Garrett.
When it comes to where patrons could comfortably
place their drinks in washrooms, it will be up to
bars and clubs to provide suitable facilities.
"We'll most likely have more attendants in the
washrooms," said Nick Di Dinato, chief executive
of Liberty Entertainment Group, which owns clubs
including the Crystal Room, Phoenix Concert Theatre
and Courthouse Chamber Lounge.
Many bars will have to clean up their act, said
New Democrat Peter Kormos.
"Let's be frank. Taking your drink into the restrooms
of most of these pubs and taverns is in and of
itself is a pretty noxious proposition."
In the meantime, Palumbo, the Ryerson student, and
her classmate, Lara Deveci, are playing it safe.
"My parents always say don't leave your drink
unattended. I wouldn't let a stranger get me a
drink," said Deveci.
Palumbo said she usually finishes her drink before
going to the washroom unless she's with "close
friends, not just someone I've known for a month."

Cory Lidle dies in Fiery crash!!

Small plane crashes into New York building
Updated Wed. Oct. 11 2006 3:27 PM ET
CTV.ca News Staff
A small plane has crashed into a building in Manhattan, say
emergency officials. However, earlier reports have said it
was a helicopter.
There is no information yet on deaths or injuries in the
incident, which occurred just before 3 p.m. EDT on
Wednesday.
Officials are saying there is no reason to believe the incident
is terrorism-related.
The location is being described as a residential building
on New York's Upper East Side. The 50-storey
building -- the Belaire, where many of the apartments
sell for more than US$1 million -- is close to the
East River.
The impact point appears to be the 20th floor.
Television images from CNN show smoke rising from a
building. Flames engulfed four apartments at one point,
but firefighters successfully fought them.
No helicopter wreckage was visible.
However, there are burn marks on the building below
where the fires are burning.
"It looks as if the aircraft didn't go into the building, it
fell down," Sarah Steiner, who lives about a block
from the building that was hit, told CNN.
The streets below are packed with emergency vehicles.
While it's a cloudy day in New York, weather reports
indicate there is about 16 kilometres of visibility
before the cloud deck.
More to come ...

The three known people of Interest are
JORAN VAN DE SLOOT

In the 2 hour window she is reportedly unable
to be able to keep awake, wanting to see the sharks,
not wanting to leave the beach etc. etc.
Joran has 4 different versions of getting home.

Beth said this... It is what we all believe...
You don't have 22 different versions if you did
everything right.

She has hope that Holland will take over the
16 month old case that ARUBA has refused to
solve.

I hope they do as I know Aruba is going to try and
clear these young criminals very soon.
They are waiting for the hysteria to die.

forced to land in Italy on Tuesday have surrendered
and will ask for political asylum, an Italian police
official said."They have surrendered and are about to

Brindisi Police Chief Salvatore De Paolis told Reuters.
"They will request political asylum."Turkish television
quoted police sources as saying the plane had been
hijacked in protest at a planned visit to Turkey next month
by the Pope, who offended many Muslims with a speech
last month linking the spread of the Islamic faith to

The Vatican said the Pope was being kept informed
about the hijacking but preparations for the trip were still
going ahead.
Brindisi airport in southern Italy, where the Turkish Airlines
plane, carrying 107 passengers and six crew, landed after
being escorted down by Italian jets, was immediately
closed. Italian police said they had begun negotiations
with two Turkish citizens who they said had hijacked the

"We're starting negotiations," said the head of Brindisi

with Italian authorities to send a message to the Pope,"
a spokesperson for Italy's civil aviation authority ENAC

An Alabama teen Natalee Holloway went missing in
Aruba on May 30, 2005, during a vacation with
classmates to celebrate her recent high school

Practically the whole island have been questioned
in the 18-year-old disappearance, no one has been

The interesting thing is that through the mazes of
relatives of the suspects and good friends, they all lead
back to the ALE,
The wild and strange moves by the Island to make
this story disappear has been in the works from
DAY1.
News emerge ie.

And later extracted with a strange explanation.
Well I for one can reconize a coverup done in the

BUT WE ARE ON TO YOU ARUBA!!!!!

This story will continue to destroy the lives of the

The horrors of what Natalee faced can only
