Sir Tom Jones

Wow he has hair!!!

How many of us remember our parents
mooning over this man?
The wild hip shaking and jerky thrusting
motions that made me wonder at the guts
he had to do this infront of millions of
people.

LONDON Mar 29, 2006 (AP)— Welsh singer Tom Jones
is getting used to meeting Queen Elizabeth II but
Wednesday was something special as she dubbed
him, "Sir Tom."
The 65-year-old singer, a coal miner's son from the

Welsh town of Pontypridd, received the honor from
the queen at Buckingham Palace.
Jones said he had met the British monarch "six or

seven times, maybe more," starting with a royal
charity performance in 1966.
"I love seeing the queen and I have always been a

royalist," Jones said after the investiture.
"She is lovely and she still is lovely."
The big-voiced belter, who was accompanied by his

son, daughter and granddaughter, said receiving
the knighthood was "just tremendous."
"When you first come into show business and you

get a hit record, it is the start of something," he said.
"As time goes on, it just gets better. This is the best

thing that I have had. It is a wonderful feeling, a
heady feeling.
"Sometimes you just can't believe it, you think you

have been dreaming."
Born Thomas Jones Woodward, Jones began his

singing career at age 3. His string of hits started
with "It's Not Unusual" in 1965, and includes
"What's New, Pussycat?,"
"Green, Green Grass of Home,"
"Help Yourself,"
"She's a Lady," and
"Never Fall in Love Again,"

ARUBA JUST DOES NOT GET IT.

SORRY ARUBA IT IS TIME TO FACE THE FACTS!

I realize that not all Tourists will boycott Aruba.
The position is many want a cost saving holiday
and if Aruba delivers that they face losing profits
and eventually hotel closures or job losses.
Even with more Tourist increased at lower hotel
prices something will have to be cut.
Aruba a one-time almost exclusive vacation spot

has got to either Find Natalee Holloway or at
least tune down the Holloway/Twitty bashing
and admit they have messed up badly.
Natalee is the victim here not the abuser.
This is something Arubians tend to forget
in their fight for justice in the media glare.
We forget at times the saying.
"Where there is smoke there is fire."

Steinmetz suggests a couple of ways to remedy
the situation. One of which looks like to lower
hotel prices were increased into the teeth of a
down turn in tourism last year.
According to the airport director, everything

depends on two things. The publicity that Aruba
will conduct to rectify its image after the
disappearance of Natalee Holloway, and
the other issue is the increase in the hotel rates,

that from last year is also a fact.
He considers that hotel rates were increased too

much.
‘I am confident that AHATA knows what’s

happening and that they know what they have
to do about it’, Steinmetz said.

Dutch police join Holloway search

Well, well, a Dutch police delegation has
arrived in Aruba to help the Natalee Holloway
investigation.

"Four officers of the Dutch national policeservice
KLPD arrived on the Dutch Caribbean island on
Monday afternoon. They have two tracker dogs
with them. A second team is to arrive shortly, local
newspaper 'Amigoe' reported on the
Dutch-language version of its website on
Wednesday"
-from the expatica news website-

Previous serches of this same area have come up empty
so I really hope DomPig has some solid information.
It would realy be a shame to waste more money on a
guess.
Who's to tell during the long time waiting for the promised
search the musical chair re-burial could have again taken
place.

Three young men, including Dutch teenager
Joran van der Sloot, were seen with Holloway shortly
before her disappearance.
The three remain suspects in the case but have not
been charged.

I prefer to call them persons of interests. HEHEHE

WHAT HAMAS IS ALL ABOUT...

Surprised?
Hamas won't fight terror ...
By Ryan Jones
March 27th, 2006
Further dashing Western hopes of
"moderating"
Hamas, and rendering worthless the primary
reason given within Israel for starting a
"peace" process with the PLO more than a
decade ago, the new masters of the Palestinian

Authority last week announced they would
punish no one for murdering Israeli Jews.

Well if you are surprised... I am not.

"Talks with the factions in the future will focus on
the mechanisms, the shape and the timing of any
attacks."
Seyam's interview was followed
Sunday by remarks
by Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh- remarks
inaccurately described as "conciliatory" by an
ever-wishful media. Speaking to reporters in Gaza
City, Haniyeh said- "We don't want a whirlpool of blood
in this region. We want the rights and dignity of
our people. We also want to put an end to this
complicated conflict that has been going on for
decades... Hamas's presence in power marks the
beginning of resolving the crisis." In his purposely
vague comments, Haniyeh left out the shape of the
"peace" his group seeks.

Its funny the talk of dignity- THEY HAVE NONE

New Hamas Foreign Minister
Mahmoud al-Zahar filled in the blanks-
"Even if the US gave us all its money in return
for recognizing Israel and giving up one inch
of Palestine, we would never do so even if
this costs us our lives."

THESE PEOPLE ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY

The Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey
Research asked a representative sampling of
Arab adults in Judea, Samaria and Gaza if
Hamas should, in accordance with international
demands, "recognize or not recognize the state
of Israel." Over sixty percent responded in the
negative.

The time would be better SPENT
worrying about feeding their people
from the 60% who responded in
the negatives pockets
LMAO
NOW WE KNOW WHAT HAMAS

IS REALLY ALL ABOUT...

FIRST SIGNS OF SPRING...

The first signs of
Spring...

Is it the brighter mornings?

Is it ths sweet sounds of
flocks of birds?

Is it the buds on the
leafless trees?

Is it the absence of
snow piled in out
backyards?

Is it warmer weather?

For me the warmer weather takes the prize.
I feel refreshed as I wake to warmer weather and
brighter mornings, the sun shining through my
bedroom windows.
I struggle to get up resenting my job and my boss
at the same time.
I shower and dress almost frightening myself as
I take the first look at myself in the mirror.
The struggle to rearrange my hair one way as it
pulls in the other direction. The makeup etc...
My unwillingness to leave all this, my messy home
which needs a good spring cleaning and my perked
coffee leftovers as I get ready to face the horrible
hustle and bustle ride into Toronto and head up to
the windowless, airless enclosure they call an office.
Stale air and depressed coworkers crawling in just
ahead of the required start time.

I hate it!!!!!!!!

I need chearing up...Am I the only one who
feels this way?

Portuguese deported for working illegally

As much as I feel for these illegal immigrants we must
realise that Jobs were being taken from REAL canadians.
Canadians who went throught the hustle and bustle of
a long long immigration process.
Well meaning relatives should realize before suggesting
that relatives over stay...

"Bad immigration consultants dispensing potentially
dangerous advice to vulnerable clients are behind a
mass deportation of Portuguese construction workers
that started this weekend, a fellow consultant said."

Yes I know about these bad immigration lawyers but
Canada never charges them as they fleece potential
victims giving themfalse hope and information.

"Right away, when you do that, you are given

a conditional deportation order," said the man,
who is acting on behalf of some of the
deportees.
"If the claim fails, you'll be deported."
Encouraging illegal immigrants to file as
refugees

is a doomed quick fix for getting a temporary visa
and health card, Dutra explained, and it is highly
misleading and potentially illegal.

The immigrants -- many are skilled tradesmen

who work in the construction industry -- are
among an estimated 10,000 workers from Portugal,
Poland and European countries who came to
Canada on vacations and overstayed.
Their departure could cause a labour shortage.

I dont believe any shortage will occur... I know many
Builders out of work and have not been able to get in
on this well paying industry and worse they are
REAL CANDIANS.

Canadian Immigration seems to bring in more refuges
than the people who apply through the proper doors.
The process is long and irritating and still we see
faster services if you do it the illegal way if you are
from muslim countries. THIS IS UNFAIR AND SHOWS
Discrimination to others from other countries trying to
come to Canada.

SAD SAD SAD
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT MUST BE STOPPED.

Top Defense Lawyers Weigh In on Holloway
Case
Attorneys Consider Suspicion that

Missing Teen Used Alcohol or Drugs
By SYLVIE ROTTMAN

Aruban police claim they have a witnesses

saying Natalee was drinking heavily and had
drugs on her the night she went missing.
This was told by Gerald Dompig, Aruba's
deputy chief of police, to CBS television's
on the 48 Hours Mystery program.
ABC News asked top
criminal defense lawyers

what they thought
Roy Black-Criminal defense lawyer,

Florida
Black: ...Usually, the only time someone

covers up a death is when there is
criminal conduct
involved, because they're afraid of the
police discovering their part in it.
...
Generally, when there's an accident,

people just leave the body where it is.
Why would anybody throw it at sea or
anywhere else?
Black: It's very hard to lose a human

body. When somebody dies, it's almost
always discovered, because it's very
hard to lose or dispose of a human body.
With decomposition, there is a very
pungent smell, and it's very easy to find
a dead body. ...
Gerry Schargel

Criminal defense attorney, New York
Schargel: ... Drugs are not talismans in

whose presence all the other evidence
in the case goes away and disappears.
... But if someone dies accidentally of

drugs
and alcohol, it's likely someone would

have sought medical attention.
And the fact that her body would have
disappeared on a small island smacks

more of murder than drugs and alcohol.

Chris Tritico
Represented Timothy McVeigh
...There's one of two possibilities. It

could be that because of the drugs,
she died an accidental death. ...
but it is not the final piece of evidence
by which the police should close this
investigation. ...
The fact that her body has never been

found leans more toward a homicide

than an accidental death.
But because we don't have all the

pieces of this puzzle, we really don't
have an answer.

Accident huh? Like hell!

THE CBS SPECIAL ON NATALEE...

THE CBS special on
Saturday night the
25th of March, was
really interesting.
I must disagree with
Dompig's theory
that the boys did not
kill her.
If they had not

contributed to her
death ...
WHY THE MUSICAL BODY GAME?
Why couldn't they just have left the

body?
What did they do to her that had to

be hidden?
******************************************
We have been informed by a manager

of a nightclub that he received a call.
He wanted to talk about the fact that
he knew more about the whereabouts

of Natalee,"
says Dompig, who acknowledges that

this is the first valuable lead he's gotten
in a while.
"Yes, concerning a specific burial

location, yes," he says

Well money has already been

wasted on that lead huh!!!!
*************************************
This part caught my attention*****
So, it's hard for them to understand that
when we investigate, we have to go
systematically.
We have to go back to basics.
And we have to do it by the book,"
says Dompig.
"We are within the Dutch kingdom.
We have a judicial system.
We have a court of law.
And we have rules.
So we had to follow the rules of the
game."
The police apparently did just that.
Contrary to the storm of criticism from
the American media, the Aruban police
say they quickly put van der Sloot and
the Kalpoe brothers under
surveillance.
I would like to have asked him to

show how he went by the book to
arrest the 2 black men?
Why those arrests were faster?

Dompig says it almost worked.
“There were several moments where
Joran almost broke.
Several moments,” he says.

Asked what FBI profilers told Dompig
about van der Sloot's psychological
profile, he says,

"They use the word sociopath. And the
fact that he was capable of lying about
basically everything."

ie- so that basically sums up all his

interviews- LIES
*****************************

One of the most persistent theories

clouding the case is the notion that her
body was dumped out at sea.
But Dr. Ruben Cruz, the head of the

island’s search and rescue team
showed 48 Hours that an unweighted
body thrown overboard near the shore
would wash up on the beach.
Cruz says he and his team have tossed a

dummy overboard many times, but that in
every case, it drifted back to shore.
The only way that wouldn’t happen is if a
boat sailed more than two miles offshore
— a trip that would have turned up on
police radar and been captured on tape.
Police have accounted for every boat in

the water the night Natalee vanished.
Authorities now believe that the teenager's

body may be buried somewhere among
some dunes, but not because it washed
ashore.
The Aruban authorities’ new theory is that
someone, someone possibly very close to

the young suspects, took the time to
carefully hide the body, not once but
maybe twice, literally re-burying her.

THE LAST SAY:
Natalee’s parents have filed a civil suit

against Joran van der Sloot and his
father, but Twitty knows she may never
learn the truth about what happened
to her daughter.
Asked what gives her hope today,

she replied,
"I don't have any."
"You don’t have any?" Roberts asked.
"If somebody wants to tell me ..."
she tearfully replied.

I have to let you all know I cried at
this point for all the pain she is
still going through.

But Dompig is optimistic that answers will

be found.
"We are that much closer to knowing what
really happened to Natalee," he says.
"A crime like this cannot go unsolved."

Dompig ??????? Do you expect us

to trust the ALE after all this time?

Lost Teen Years...

The story that all parents with missing......
Children hope will come true ... Just so their loved

one will come back home to them.

Missing girl kept locked up for 10 years
Dan Glaister in Los AngelesFriday March 24, 2006

Guardian
A 24-year-old woman who was missing for 10 years
has been reunited with her father after spending
most of the time locked in the bedroom of a house
just two miles away.
Tanya Kach had been living at the house in a
suburb of Pittsburgh with a 48-year-old man who
was a security guard at the school she attended as
a teenager.
For 10 years she did not venture out alone,
remaining in a locked bedroom in
Thomas Hose's home.
The security guard was remanded in custody
on Wednesday, charged with sexual assault and
involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
After seeing her father for the first time since
she ran away from home at 14, Ms Kach said:
"I can't believe I'm free." Her father never stopped
looking for her, and the search assumed a high
profile in Pittsburgh, with the girl's photograph
appearing on milk cartons.
But there were never any sightings of her.
She told reporters that Mr Hose had kept her in
the house by convincing her that nobody else
cared about her.
"He told me no one was looking for me.
He said the case was cold. I believed him."
The security guard met her when he caught her
skipping a class at school.
They made plans for her to run away to live
with him.
She moved into his house, which he shared with
his parents and younger brother.
Mr Hose moved her in when nobody was there
and kept her presence secret.
Some 10 months ago he introduced her to his
parents as his girlfriend and she started to go
out, making frequent visits to a nearby shop.
This week, Ms Kach finally told her story to
the shopkeeper.
Mr Hose has not been charged with holding
her against her will.

THIS IS A WEIRD AND ODD CASE FOR SURE!!
Just happy she is alive.

Milwaukee police:

'Every little tip is a big tip'
Saturday, March 25, 2006
Posted: 2332 GMT (0732 HKT)

(CNN) -- Police are asking the public for help in finding
two Milwaukee, Wisconsin, boys who disappeared
last Sunday.
"We know there's additional information out there,
" Milwaukee police spokesman Anne E. Schwartz
said Saturday.
"If someone has provided you with that information,
we need you to give us a call."
Quadrevion Henning, 12, and his friend
Purvis Parker, 11, were last seen Sunday afternoon
as they headed off to play ball at a park near their
homes.
Extensive searches and numerous tips have yielded
no clues to what might have happened to them.
Police are confident, however, that there are people
with information who have not come forward.
"If you've been considering calling us with this
information, if you're afraid, now is the time.
We need you to give us a call," Schwartz said,
asking anyone who may have been near the park
between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday,
"Where were you?
What were you doing?
What did you see?"

Arubia's Motor mouth speaks out

PLEASE WATCH CBS 48 HOURS. ..... right!!!!
CBS is airing a special on Saturday night the 25th of March.
Natalee Holloway: New Clues In Paradise, 10 p.m. ET/PT
with exclusive new details from inside the police
investigation into the disappearance of the teen.
Correspondent Troy Roberts reports for 48 Hours Mystery.
According to inside information Aruba should not be
worried about the report.
why?... Rona Coster wrote the script
On the contrary, those who have been on TV night after
night telling lies about the island may want to go to a
therapist to help them redirect their anger and refocus
their thoughts.
Because Aruba has no plans on
telling the truth ever.
The island of Aruba spent huge resources on helping the
investigation, from shutting down the government to
help search for the teen to flying supersonic surveillance
planes overhead and handing the keys of the city to
the FBI and the Dutch Police.
Also wasted American's money
sending them to the wrong places
to search.
It was a huge injustice to portrait the island as anything
but loving, caring and concerned.
Anyway, our general prosecutor is appointed, not elected,
so that she does not owe the public any explanations
and she kept mum, unfortunately, while the storm of
speculations and unfair and mean allegations raged on.
CBS 48 Hours apparently got it and tells the truth.
So we should Boycott this show?
or what?

Tempers flare on opening day of seal hunt

A harp seal lays on a ice floe in the Gulf of St. Lawrence
Saturday, March 25, 2006.

Chris Morris and Kevin Bissett
Canadian Press
Saturday, March 25, 2006

CHARLOTTETOWN -- Protesters had to dodge flying seal guts
pitched at them by angry hunters as tempers flared on the first
day of Canada's East Coast seal slaughter.
News reporters and animal rights activists tried to get as
close as permitted to the hunt on the Gulf of St. Lawrence, but
their presence infuriated sealers as they hunted for scarce
animals on small, drifting ice pans.
At one point, a sealing vessel charged up to a small Zodiac
inflatable boat carrying reporters and protesters, and a
sealer flung seal intestines into the midst of the observers.
A second sealing boat swerved close to the Zodiac and the
sealers swore at the protesters.
Due to the early break up of the ice in southern parts of the
Gulf, hunters are using rifles to kill seals.

Aruba has refused to search for Natalee

as far as I believe there is no new witness...
The witness has been new too long and ...
no action AS USUAL...
ARUBA LIES, EVERYONE LIES IN ARUBA!!! After months and months of investigations and a one track
search for a dead Natalee Holloway there is one common
thread that seems to be constantly overlooked. First of all
there is the bizarre range of theories offered by the Aruba
authorities. For instance take the latest from Gerald Dompig
(Deputy Chief of Police for Aruba). To quote Officer Dompig ,
” We feel strongly that she probably went into shock or
something happened to her system with all the
alcohol-maybe on top of that, other drugs, which either
she took or they gave her- and that she...just collapsed”.

And latest news--------
Toledo Blaze--A Sylvania Township firm's search
in Aruba for missing teen Natalee Holloway ended
yesterday without clues to her whereabouts.
Police on the Dutch island were acting on a tip that
Miss Holloway was buried somewhere in dunes in a
beach area about the size of two football fields and
needed some high-tech help. Ground Penetrating
Radar Systems of Sylvania Township donated an
employee and its ground radar equipment to
search the area after they were contacted by Don
Wood, head of Child Watch in Orlando, through
an Internet search.
"They got down there and searched beach areas and
caves," Mr. Wood said.
Unfortunately, he said, nothing was found.
The company has volunteered its services for
future searches, if needed, Mr. Wood said....
Authorities there were criticized for the slow progress
on the case and also beset by allegations that locals
who might have been involved in the case were
being protected.
The latter prompted Alabama Gov. Bob Riley and
others to call for a travel boycott of Aruba, located
in the southern Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela.

OTTAWA (Reuters) -
Canada's annual seal hunt, the focus of a
major protest effort by animal activists, will
start on Saturday and could last longer than
usual because the ice floes on which the seals
gather are in poor condition, officials said
on Thursday.
Canada says a total of 325,000 harp seal pups

can be shot or clubbed to death this year.
The first stage of the hunt, which takes place
on ice in the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Canada's
East Coast, will account for just over 90,000
animals.
Activists, who say the killing is cruel and

unnecessary, say they will film the proceedings.
The hunt officially starts at 6 a.m. on Saturday.
Hunters usually take between five and eight

days to meet their quota but officials say the
ice is much more broken up than usual and
the seals are very scattered.
"It will be slower ... this will drag on," said

Roger Simon of the federal fisheries ministry.
The second and more important stage of

the hunt, which takes place off the coast
of Newfoundland, will start on April 4 and
last for most of the month.
A number of high-profile figures, among

them former French film star
Brigitte Bardot and ex-Beatle Paul McCartney,
have called on Canada to scrap the hunt.

in a town north of Baghdad.
British officials identified the men as Canadians

James Loney, 41, and Harmeet Singh Sooden, 32;
and Briton Norman Kember, 74.
The men -- members of a Chicago-based Christian
peace activist group -- were kidnapped on Nov. 26
along with their American colleague, Tom Fox, 54,
whose body was found earlier this month.

WHY DO WOMEN STAY?

By EULALEE THOMPSON
We cannot pretend that this is an easy question to
answer. And, from the outset, we should not
stereotype women; not all women stay.
Many women, from all walks of life, do leave and
are leading beautiful, fulfilling lives.
We cannot be judgmental either; we have to

believe that individuals, even those in the bowels
of a terrific interpersonal trauma, have a remarkable
ability to be lucid, to weigh their alternatives and
to arrive at decisions appropriate to their situation.
Sometimes, their decision is to stay.
In some of those cases, the most important role of
counselling and therapy is to empower the
woman and make her feel that she has
'the permission' to carry out the decision which
she instinctively feels is right for her.
STAYING FACTORS

However, women give all kinds of reasons for

staying - because of the children, he's really nice
when he's nice, for financial support, status,
lack of job skills, shame, isolation, don't believe
in divorce, fear of more violence, I want to make
my relationship/marriage work and so on.
Are these adequate reasons to withstand emotional
and physical abuse?
These reasons may only be 'fronts', ego defence
mechanisms, against threatening feelings and
emotions.
There may be deeper reasons:
1. Deeper unconscious issues at play.

She may be unconsciously trying to resolve in the
present, childhood issues with the men in her past
2. Struggling with self-esteem issues. These are issues

surrounding how she values herself, self-worth,
confidence and satisfaction with self.
Does she feel that she is deserving of happiness
and success in life or perhaps she learnt while
growing up that she doesn't deserve to be loved
and to be happy and that suffering is just her lot
in life.
3. As mentioned before, the woman who stays, may
be logical and rational, looks at the cold, hard
facts (board, lodging, food, clothing, the children,
status and so on), do a cost-benefit analysis and
finds that staying is the most cost-effective decision.
